it's just sick, we'll have to wait til next season to see mikky n mofro really play together. his first season he wasn't settled but now he owns 90% of the premier league. and why have our injuries turned into nightmares in this last year.
absolutely gutted for the lad.

A stroke of good luck that Arteta is back though it could be worse - we will really miss the big an, in the last two months he was playing chess and everyone else was playing draughts.

Can't wait for your GROVELLING apology for this dross you posted.

I don't do grovelling. (n)

Its now sounding like a "partial rupture" - quite what the difference between partial rupture and tear is you tell me. (they are the same).

Hence he still had mobility in the joint.

When Van Persie got injured he went on Dutch tv in November 2009 and told people he'd be out for 6 weeks.

He got reviewed November 22nd by a specialist and was advised that he needed surgery and ligament reconstruction. Sounds like exact same thing here.

Conservative approach. He may have floating cartillage that the surgeon wants to remove.

Basically, he could be back before the end of the season, but it sounds to me that Moyes doesn't want him rushing back hence the six month figure, as it sounds like they've confered on the type of injury and put that timescale in (as he doesn't want him playing at all in the summer).

And if you think thats drivel lol thats up to you lol

but I aint grovelling as the diagnosis wouldn't have come back until at least after the Chelsea game and it took 9 days to get a diagnosis for Van Persie, same for this one and they wouldn't have known about him getting surgery till Monday just gone. (n)

terrible news about fellaini. all the best to him for a speedy recovery.

my fear now is that arteta is being played too much too early.
what we dont want is him breaking down in the rush to cover for fellaini.

tbh i think arteta has that look about him in the last few games where the worst possible scenario is in the back of his mind with every tackle.

with fellaini out i think we have to consider arteta doing a bit part here and there for a fair few weeks while osman (who i think has been superb of late) and rodwell or neville take up the role of our cm pairing.

Slow down mate, he's not been that good.

pessimism or realism? our midfield is too lightweight without him. even with psycho leon.

Yeah your right, because we didn't just beat Chelsea last week with a lightweight midfield.

It's definite pessimism. Trust me mate, stand on the side of the sun and you'll be fine. If Everton don't get into Europe this season - you know what, it doesn't matter.

Awfull news about felli, feel for him he was in the form of his life! Lets hope he recovers quick. looks like our dream of all our best midfielders fit together is over for another season. :(

One thing is that it may mean rodwell gets some more games before the end of the season.

We still have enough quality to go and save this season.

I think Arteta and Neville have proven to be a good option in midfeild. Reamins to be seen if this will be the making of Rodders with Arteta.

I also think Billly could be a dark horse in all this.

No doubt about we will miss the big man hes so influential.

Massively gutted though i was really lookig foward to seeing Arteta and Fellaini together.

haha good advice i could do with some rays! i hope you're right, maybe rodwell will step up to the plate..

Oh and I'd just like to add, anyone who's ****ged the club's medical or physio staff off over the past week.

Took Arsenal 9 days to get diagnosis for Van Persie.

Took Everton 9 days to get diagnosis for Fellaini.

...

Obviously the way he was playing it will be a big loss, but I really hope Bily steps up and cements a MF slot. Pienaar stepped up when we lost Arteta - lets see Diniyar do it and prove the big money was well spent on him.

I still think it's a bit too soon to be reliant on Rodwell. Arteta is nowhere near 100% but will improve. The season's not over yet.
