Correct. It should've been done instantly and if not the second the final whistle went at Anfield. That's without doubt a mistake.

Better yet, the day we fluked a draw at home to Saints, just before Hell Week, would have done me.

Leaving the stadium after the game, every bugger knew we were going to lose those two games.

But either way, Bobby should never have been in charge of our team at Wembley for the semi.

Never in all my years following our Grand Old Team did I sense such forebodence and apathy among Evertonians as we made our way to a big match as I did that day.

This really.

And we actually have a plan with substance to move ground to an actual desirable spot and that.
Think the poll results say it all really.

Think more would probably selected the first option had we a better summer transfer window. I'm hoping that if we redo this poll in September then 84% will pick the top option.;)

agreed mate. i went too, but the result was less important than the consequences. Body language of players all over place. Barkekey asking Jags were they booing me at half time said it all

You'll have to refresh my memory on that one.

Was it the one when Martinez was made up with the home draw whilst Koeman was fuming with the away draw?

Seem to have some on here who believe we could have spent fortunes on players without selling. Can you please enlighten me how without getting vastly improved commercial deals in place within 6 months. Moshiri got rid of Bobby and the Iranian is a God in my eyes for that alone.

Take Lukaku's advice to spend on players that were identified and deals set up for them but then not delivered on.

There's been nothing done here out of the ordinary for any Evertonian who witnessed the Kenwright years of poorly funded squads and fine stadium promises and schemes that failed to happen.

What's the difference so far really? None that I see.

I know you're on a wind up like but what advice was it that lukaku had? Even if he had any, is it a good idea to be seen taking advice from a player in a period of time where player power is under heavy scrutiny?

We are in a better place a year on. He made some big mistakes, keeping Bobby too long, bungling the summer window, building up expectation before he could deliver but let's see what happens now

Well it's advice given with the aim of keeping your best players and not disillusioning them that much they seek pastures new, so I think it is worth taking.

"There are none so blind as those who refuse to see"

I would have liked a better summer window, and the stadium to be further along, but if you can't see a tangible difference between the Moshiri regime and the previous one, you're just not looking.

Give it a rest mate. Your constant negative comments must make so many people log off here. Bet you were made up when we were nearly getting relegated and that each year so you could boast of how [Poor language removed] we were and how the club was a laughing stock.
