Homepage Article Fan Advisory Board Statement On Price Rises

The FABs were designed to be that. It's baked into them. That's why the government and football authorities sanctioned them.

All those groups that came together to oust the last Everton regime taking the piss need to be coming together again.

All Together Now.
It gives fans the illusion they have a voice.

Ultimately the club will be run as TFG see fit.

Supply and demand isn't it?

They've tested the water, put the price up, they've got a waiting list. No doubt will "freeze" them the following year. But it'll be the test to see the sales and also the demand for general sale tickets.

This is the modern game now and we're being ran like a business. Shake the trees and see what falls away.

Until a backlash. There's always a backlash.

As others have said on here: the type of cash they get in from their infamous 'uplift' makes no sense in terms of cost-benefit for them. It's not enough to make a difference on anything other than maybe the running costs of the club for a couple of months, but it stores up a LOT of ill-will toward them because it IS piling monetary pressures on already suffering fans who are up against a cost of living crisis.

To then not not have the courtesy to explain their actions is an extra slap in the face.

This is NOT the way to run a football club.

Supply and demand mean f.a. in this industry...an industry like no other.

Every top club in this league is squeezing out season ticket holders.
Sadly as it stands we are not a top club.
What works at Manchester united will never work here.
They (utd) really do want none spending ST holders out as they can fill the seat with ease.....irrespective of where they are in the table.
Put it this way. If a group of these much vaunted "wealthy tourists" docked a mile from BMD and were offered to see a PL game of their choice it'd be the RS or more likely a taxi up the East Lancs to see the Mancs.

That's not true. United, Liverpool,Newcastle, Villa and City all have lower ST pricing.

Only Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea are higher.

There's no link here to success and ST cost.

It's arbitrary based on what owners view as elasticity. Ours believe they have a fanbase that can be hammered. Well they need to look at the addresses of our fans and the types of relatively deprived districts they reside in.

Hate saying it mate but, the difference between us and RS fans is that they kick - off and demand answers, we just shrug our shoulders and say "oh well" and move on.
Also the media cover all the no flags protests and any RS upset

Not just us, but the media don’t really care about most clubs in the PL.

We make up the numbers and are howling in the wind.

The global money will outweigh any local concern for most clubs.

According to the all knowing artificial intelligence, which of course never gets anything wrong, SCR is not replacing PSR, but it is instead an added requirement with both being applicable. And the SCR requirement is going to be a bit of a spanner in the works for clubs like Bournemouth, who have previously relied on sound player trading.

Real revenue outside of player trading is going to become more important than ever, and our new stadium gives us at least an opportunity to possibly compete once again, which just would not have been possible at Goodison.

It also said that 'free transfers' are no longer going to be as appealing as they once were, especially if the 'free' transfer translates into a far higher wage for the player being picked up 'on a free'.

Yes, this is how ticket prices are set. No other logic needed.
