The same at every club in the modern day. 'We don't care who buys the tickets as long as someone does' and they will.

Loyalty doesn't exist nowadays.

Sadly it's head patting for them and continue as we go.

If you don't want to pay, someone else will.

Loyalty is long gone

RIP People's Club

I'm not sure it'll be as safe in the future.

I see empty seats at Man City, Spurs, West Ham etc - I see empty seats at Everton too, a debut season at a new stadium.

I think this time in 5, there will be less season ticket demand than there has been.

City don't want season tickets because they cost less than 19 match tickets

That's where it's heading.

Profit profit profit.

We lead the World in TV revenue yet fans totally shafted every year.

The "people's club" was always just a con. Are we supposed to pretend that the club was "for the people" while Kenwright was asset stripping it of literally everything that wasn't nailed to the floor and making himself rich off it? Give me a break. The only difference between then and now is that the folk running us are professional and polished scam artists instead of the clunky amateurs we used to have.

Those waiting haven't been buying spare/unsold tickets this season, so it's shortsighted.
Most empty seats this season have been season tickets holders not going, my grandson is waiting but has bought on resale and not missed a game as yet. It maybe a bit short sight but who's to say how long they will be here they could sell us tomorrow at a huge profit.

Exactly. Another season of Monday night football in the winter, and our lovely new stadium will be looking like the Etihad - gaps everywhere. On two occasions this season, I couldn't even give my ticket away.
I think a large part of this is the getting to and from the ground at night, its a kin nightmare.

I was home last for the Bournemouth game and decided against it couldn't be arsed with BS (only been once this season West Ham Monday night)

Im renewing my season ticket for next season but selling it for a season to my sons mate.

Whatever way it's spun mate, there's been most games this season you can cherry pick 2-4 tickets in any stand you like.

That didn't happen the past decade at Goodison. I've had empty seats I couldnt get rid off this season, never happened at Goodison.

It makes me think the whole "there's 1.6 million people waiting for a season ticket' is a bit of a bum steer.

They're going to bring out a survey where fans will show their displeasure and then nothing further will happen. Their existence is a legal box ticking exercise for the club. They aren't listened to, it's a farce and a waste of time
