FA Cup Final: Everton vs Chelsea

Yer know what hurts me the most? to see defenders turn their backs on a player who is about to shoot at goal (like today), I've seen this too often in the Everton team lately. :(

I think they scored too early - that can have a bad effect on games - remember dacourt at anfield.
Don't think the heat helped, it suited chelski more than us.
Think lampard is a t1t bigging up his only real contribution - i.e the goal - for the rest of the game he was anonymous.

So thats 4 defeats in cup finals and 2 wins in my lifetime - :(

Roll on next season and ffs lets get a world class right-back (y)

I mentioned it earlier. Lampard slips on his arse and throws the perfect dummy and then the ball sits perfect for him.
He must step in poop every morning.

Such a sad way to end the campaign and we might say well if someone said 5th and an FA cup final then you'd snatch their hand off, but I dont take it that way, because no one said any of that [Poor language removed] and we made 5th and we made the cup final and were leading by a goal to nil, so its so so so disappointing, but I believe we will be stronger next year in all the cup competitions, we will believe we can win these cups and we will.

Brilliant goal from Saha, incredible actually, could not have hoped for a better start. But we were against the walls since that goal and maybe they deservedly got that goal, but I think Jags would have had none of it and we would have won this, but again, no excuses we werent matched to their level today and didnt create chances as well as we should have.

Anyway, a brilliant season yet again and lets hope next year we can win every single cup thats available, including the league, because I say **** that [Poor language removed], at the start we're all on 0 points, its all square, lets ******* win and only win.

Everton FC. Forever. (y)

Did we have a Man of the Match today?

Ask me in a couple of years and I might have even forgotten who started today.

gutted with the amount of room we gave them in midfield closing down was way to slow ... great goal by saha nothing more to say just shattered totally shattered

Agreed we really need a decent right back, and right midfielder, on the left I think we have the makings of a great partnership with Baines & Pienaar. But we do need the same for the right.

Yes. Howard Webb of the London suburb of Chelsea didn't give us a thing where it mattered. Except yellow cards.

Better team won, bit gutted that we didnt show up more but thats how it is.

Not going to point fingers as its churlish and the boys in blue have gave me some ace moments this year.

Well done Chelsea.

As pragmatic as ever my astute friend. Indeed. All credit to Chelsea. Different class on the day.

Proud to be there, lived the dream for those few early minutes, great atmosphere, phenominal backing for the blues.

We lost with dignity, our fans stayed to show their appreciation of Everton and to congratulate Chelsea, a rare sight these days.

We'll be back, hopefully stronger next season.

Agreed the better team won but we helped them too much by being caught in possession, and bad passing.

As for the team won't talk about all but a few.

Howard's nerves were showing and arguably may have done better with lampard's shot.

Hibbert as we have all known for ages, absolute rubbish, no idea of positioning or marking. Can go, championship quality at best.

Osman, another who can go, hardly helped Hibbert at all and why was he not keeping tabs on Cole?

Neville seemed to be missing for big chunks of the game, allowed their midfield too much room.

However we did give a good account of ourselves, nothing to be ashamed of.
