yeah nice one.....joined here a few weeks ago, was abit surprised i was able to get the n.s.n.o again....
gutted yesterday, didn't think we'd win there, but thought we might get a draw and then beat them at goodison....can't afford to waste the chances we did though, and playing Robles was a massive mistake (unsettled the backline too much, losing jageilka was already a big enough blow)...
Same here, I reckoned we were good enough for a draw. Arsenal away was never going to be easy of course but I guess I was too reliant on the memory of our pre New Year form.

I have to be honest here lads. When we lost yesterday, I was disappointed but not despondent, as I felt that City was waiting out there.

NOW, I am despondent!

Arsenal have been lucky in the cup this season. They have never played there strongest team at any point and have beaten Spurs, RS and us. I just hope RM learns from this mistake he has made, and play his strongest team when you play a strong team. Playing Robles against QPR and Stevenage and Swansea's B team, was ok but against Arsenal no way. The cup is in the bag for Arsenal now, and it could have been us. The way the draw has planned out now, only 6th place will get us into Europe. Manu and spurs will finish above us, so same old story as with Moyes, we could finish 7th and get no Europe.

Not sure all that made sense mate.

Arsenal haven't been lucky. They've beaten us, Liverpool and Spurs. That's pretty impressive.

They deserve to be there.

As for the Robles thing. Yeah he was dodgy as anything yesterday. But it wasn't his fault. Arsenal were better than us.

I'd hate to be unlucky in a draw....

Well in 2009 we were unlucky, but we got Chelsea in the final (though we beat manu, RS, Villa who were fighting for 4th that season). Arsenal have never played there full team, and got through. against RS they should have conceded the 2nd penalty, which could have taken the game to a replay.

they played half their first team and still deservedly beat a full strength liverpool. if they had that same team vs us it may have been a different story, but sadly they took us more seriously.

they've been lucky in they haven't had to leave london, but you still gotta beat those teams.

We deserved nothing in the cup. We didn't earn it. It just wasn't our year. We should have no problem in accepting that.

Our day will come again. We may have to wait a while, but it will.
