So a premier league side who finishes 7th and had to play 38 tough games to finish there will possibly miss out on europe to a league 1 side.

Except that's not how it works. You can't conclude that's how the draw would have come out had we won or drawn yesterday.

Think utd will end up above us too. On the plus side I think we can finish above spurs!

Some were saying it was obvious Arsenal and City would be kept apart to make a 'dream final'.

the top 7 in the prem is set in stone.

if it was always the same top 7 getting europe every year the english game would lose some of it's magic. hull will win anyway, they've had a great season to be fair to them.

i'm not sure why the finalists of the FA Cup should get europe, but not the finalists of the league cup. that doesn't make sense to me. you could argue why a team coming 7th should get europe over a team that comes 2nd in the respective tournaments, but one over 38 games against the top 19 in the country vs beating the possibility of 5 lower league clubs isn't a great argument.

on the minor plus, it may mean hull's 2nds team will be played against us last game of the season, just a shame long and jelavic are both cup tied so will play against us.
