Evertonians with RS children

My brother, nephew, kids grandad and others have all had a go at convincing the kids that Man Utd, Chelsea or Tottenhham were better options, but I did my job and they're all Everton fans. Only one of them is really interested in football and has recently started playing for his first team aged 5, I hate the fact that their kit is red and I hope he grows to have the same irrational hatred of that colour as I do.

Nah that’s rational mate, my team when I was a kid had a red shirt for a season so 9 year old me always wore either an Everton shirt or something blue underneath it. It made my dad proud.

Basically suggest this to your lad and if he doesn’t go for it 12 lashings a day should do the trick.

My daughter was named Evie after Everton.... the missus claims that’s not true of course, but she had her and had her first season ticket bought at 6 months old and she’s indoctrinated.

When my son was born I just went for it and insisted his middle name was Blue to avoid any doubt, and for his name to and ‘0’ printed on the back of the home shirt the day before he was due , which incidentally resulted in it being the first item of clothing he ever wore.

Easy, life sorted for them!

I married a Newcastle United fan ( I know, there's no accounting for taste but at least he isn't a Kopite_- there was no way that was EVER going to happen) My son, born 1993, had a brief flirtation with Man Utd - even at a very young age he knew NUFC weren't for him. When he was about 4 he said "Mum, I want to be an Evertonian like you" I nearly cried, ordered a kit, took him to a match and that was it. We go when we can and it's great. I have also instilled in him a hatred of all things RS. Quality parenting I would say.

My son doesn't follow football, though he likes to see Everton win as it makes me happy. His teacher is an RS and he won't look at him if he has anything related to that club on him.

I have always lived by the no RS rule.
Dating girls when I was younger, that was always a 1st question. If they supported that shower and would not swap, they where binned. Saved any long term aggro.

I've got 3 kids and obviously, all are blues, my wife isn't bothered about footy but is happy for me and my youngest when we win. Her side of the family are RS but most are dead now, but when her mum was alive my eldest went for a trial at the filth and she bought him a white away kit, I went ballistic and she couldn't understand why as it wasn't red:mad: lets just say the kit disappeared and my lad never wore it, wore his EFC kit and never passed the trial, never told her what happened to it,it was a mystery:p:celebrate:

I would've been about six when I said to my dad and grandad that I wanted to go to a football match. My dad was a Red and said I was too little and wouldn't be able to see - he used to stand behind that goal where the bus goes past that goes to Sleepers Hill . Grandad was a Toffee and only ever sat in either the Bullens or Park End stands, so he said I could go with him. I remember the conversation but I don't remember whether I supported anyone then. That was in the early 1950's and I very quickly realised that I was an Evertonian. My younger brother wasn't interested in football, but decided when he was 30 odd that he was RS. It was about the time when they were in a run of winning things and lots of people decided to support them.

My grandad was from Sheffield and moved to Liverpool at the end of the 1st World War. He had been a Sheff Wed supporter but became a very strong Blue.
He used to talk to me about Dixie Dean and players from that era. His favourites were Warney Cresswell and Tommy Lawton, as well as Dixie.
He died just before the 1966 Cup Final and I've often wondered how mixed his emotions might have been. I was here in Melbourne by then and never had
the chance to speak to him about it.

You are my kinda gal, Angie :)

All my family are RS, and the in laws are Man U fans, so when my missus was giving birth to our lad I was standing at the snatch end with an Everton babygro ready for him to slip into.
I literally laughed out loud at that
The apprentice gave me a funny look but is too afraid to say anything
I’m inclined to give him shifty jobs when he gets out of line

My daughter married one.

But she warned him beforehand...any and all offspring would not be subject to any RS indoctrination or propaganda :)
I know it’s your daughter and your future grandchildren but with all due respect RS shouldn’t be allowed to breed
My late dads scouse mate always said the RS fans are proof you can get pregnant from backdiir sex
His wife Annie always hit him when he said that , not that she didn’t believe it but didn’t like that kind of talk lol
