Back home. Now that hurt. Flat, despondent, exhausted.

From a barely Championship standard first half to a near CL standard second half. The first half was so awful it was unbearable, had a second goal gone in then half the crowd would have upped and left. As it was, the noise generated in the second half as the fans roared them on was astonishing.

The two constants throughout the match, Rooney being excellent for them and Barkley stinking out the stadium from start to finish. I screamed myself hoarse howling at Barkley every time he stood still and let players walk past him, no effort to press, close space, tackle etc. McCarthy was little better, have never shared the love-in for this average player.

Was it a penalty, hard to tell from where I was, looked a bit soft but will defer to those who have seen replays etc. From the moment Lukaku started his run up, I knew it would be saved. Dreadful effort.

For the people who are saying are second half performance was great. We only drew that half. They still had chances. We looked that good because the first half we were that bad.

I coach under 9's and if we are getting battered I always say play attacking without any coaching . We did that second half. Joke that is the situation. Anyway f you Martinez the most important months of this club are ahead of us and you will not be there. Love you blues.
