Lukaku this season: 25 goals in 42
Martial this season: 14 goals in 41

I know stats aren't everything but Rom has carried us this year, he's only 22 himself (Martial 20) he has an off day in front of goal and yes it cost us massively but he is a brilliant player
Not disputing Lukaku is boss but twice as good as Martial is a poor shout, a kid in his first season over here, Rom has been here for years now.

Yeah twice the player is an exaggeration, but he's better. Two headed coin that, whose to say Martial will be slotting them in the next three year? Lukaku has done it consistently since joining west brom on loan

He had another off day
He turns up and plays when he wants to, but you can't stay sharp by not being arsed
He has talent
But he's a self perpetuating sulk, Mourinho was right about him

You can't stay sharp playing every single game isolated as a lone striker at 22 with no support or time to rest. He was unreal in our last cup tie, today not so much.

Winning the FA Cup is great, but it's often said that winning it in 95 was the worst thing in the long run.

Lad - It was [Poor language removed] boss. Nobody was under assumptions that everything was rosy in the garden afterwards but it showed there was potential there. The worst thing in the long run there was Hamperman not backing Joe Royle when it was needed. Who'd have spent peanuts on Tore Andre Flo back then? Not us - Joe walked, cack ensued.

Devastating.

The second half performance night just be encouragement that Martinez can turn it round next season. We deserved to win that.
