Newcastle were much better than us, they dominated the midfield and had some of that pace stuff we horribly lack.

At least Moyes changed it at half time but how Osman stayed on the right I will never know, not that Bily was much better like. Distin proved me wrong though, so shows how much master tactician I am.

The biggest frustration comes from what I said at half time, not just selecting our best eleven and letting the opposition worry about us. We have a good eleven, maybe not as good as we thought like but still decent enough to beat Newcastle at home.

The biggest tell tale from this season has been us being absolutely wank up front, hence why we just don't have shots on goal. Same as this game, that needs sorting out.

Everyone is going to fume and froth and scapegoat everything, fair enough, Everton have ruined my weekend yet again but I can't help thinking that 4-5-1 needs looking at too, certainly not at home v Newcastle.

Anyway, I ripped them in my preview so it's only fair to say, well done Newcastle - you deserved it.
I'm not going argue with any of that there Chico as it's pretty much spot on, there is one thing I'd like to add is the lack of a leader on the pitch.. Neville time me thinks..

Really was expecting a lot more from your lot today. Your midfield was dominated by ours for the majority of the match. Arteta and Fellaini in particular were well off their best, Pienaar was largely anonymous.

Ben Arfa looks some kind of player, a class above in attack today, our players will have to get used to playing with someone with such an array of skills. Great full debut for Tiote, looks a very handy player and just what we've needed in our midfield.

Nervous moments for us at the end, with a very good block from Williamson, but overall IMO a deserved result.

I'm sure you will all be more worried about your own players disappointing performances - but what did you think of us?

Oh.

I will say your boy Williamson was lucky to still be on. And honestly, I wished Fellaini's swing had connected with him. He was a thug all day long. Defending? Not from Williamson. He was holding, hacking, and doing everything he could illegally to hold off Fellaini. It worked for him today as the ref and linesmen didn't want to call it but rest assured, he'll cost you down the road witha penalty, red card, or both.

Moyes is the problem

I am confident that Moyes will make the changes, but he is the problem right now.

I have less of a problem with Hibbert, but Osman has no business being on the pitch.

Arteta was useless today and Johnny just can't play DM. He was horrendous on the goal. How you can give him the left foot there? Embarrassing. Truly embarrassing.

It's one thing not to score against those clown, it's quite another to concede anything to them.

I dont give a [Poor language removed] if yak hit the post and felli came close. I just don't buy it. Moyes has to take responsibility for his team selection and when you have the right balance, you'll play encouraging football.

Why is a league 1 striker not played the last week and started this week? He needs time to adapt but coming off the bench when we are leading by a goal or two so he can ease up!

****** hell moyes will never ever learn!

Osman...you're not worth the championship mate!

I'd rather have him on the middle than Hetinga. You may not get loads of skill from him, but at least you get desire and passion from him. Something which is sorely lacking in our team right now.

Exactly. That was what I was thinking.

Based on Fellaini's performance today. Heitinga to CB with Jags and Neville at DM next match.

Put it this way mate, if we would have took any of them two chances in injury time it would have been undeserved.

Your midfield had the better of us and it was a wonderful away performance from you, bodes well for the future.

Obviously I'm gutted but hope you stick around here, you seem the nice sort.

So, much about your defending for a clean sheet and win with a single goal, well, Moyes could save it for second half, especially when we can't even keep a clean sheet at the moment, so why bother playing a defensive line-up.

Next league game I want Coleman replace Hibbert, Pienaar playing RM instead Osman, give Gueye a try in LM if not Billy then and give Yakubu a start from the beginning and replace him with Beckford in the last 20~30 mins.

I can also see Distin could only cope with lesser team such as Newcastle, so, if we are going to play team like Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or team like Villa I did rather have Jagielka and Heitinga in the middle.
