You can say that again.

Seriously I'd love to have the energy for a rant, but I'll swerve it, get a good night's sleep (the crying will help me fall asleep), build up my anger until Sunday and get behind the lads. We can still make it.
its kinda already there so i dont really need to say it again retard, and its pretty much true, no cheeky comments like 'say that again' not in the mood.

not just 1 mistake no, attacking he is brilliant but he just lacks pace and he's a full back and given RM isnt a huge fan of wingers tracking back it puts more pressure on him when defending so he could do with more pace, oviedo is much better defending and will learn the attacking trade under RM, of course probs not become as good offensively as baines but i still prefer oviedo and i've said that all season, not just today

Nonsense.
Nonsense.
A little more nonsense.

RM:

"We wanted to win so much that we stopped being ourselves and that is what we have to learn from. We will try and get as many points as we can, it doesn't change anything. We have had a magnificent season and we have incredible potential in this squad."
always finds the positives our roberto, gotta love him

Of course its a huge shock. Palace started the night 30 points below us after 33 matches, we had won 7 league matches on the spin and 9 (I think) in a row at Goodison. Plus not one Palace player is good enough for Everton.

Fair play to them though, they had an obvious gameplan and it worked.

Its not the shock its the over the top arse seeing, Like how dare we get beaten by Palace, Then you have the 5000 tactical masterminds telling us how they would have won us the match

I briefly thought, what would Moyes do? Then remembered that we no longer have Timmy to head it in (n)

but they did do well.
7 shots 4 on target and 3 go in
we should be so poor.
2 hit and hopes and a free header coz stones lost his man.

When we do similar to teams having a poor game we say so what...you can only beat what's put in front of you...and we did

the run had to end sometime, they always do...this is Everton remember.

We used our luck up in some dire-ish wins with OG's and deflections

Reset the clock and go again for 4 games

It'll go until the last day

Said that in all the way through since Sept ( oh yes I did )

It's just that the hope and expectations got the better of us for a bit

Agree to disagree then. I thought we beat ourselves and could have played light years better. Also Stones slipping right before Jerome had his hit let the ball get through, complete piece of bad luck but without that I think we would have won sloppy again. Still think we have a much better shot at fourth than some are saying though.

LOOK we played poor with a some what disjointed team defensive mistakes TH dropped the big clanger for the 3rd goal not collecting an easy ball in his area, Distan was fuming they scored from that needless throw in build up, but we almost got a draw TH made just one save Palace tactics were spot on with the team we put out in the first half - we are only 1 point behind Arsenal - disappointing tonight, but there are points to play for!
