Can we please not write off 4th again! it just puts people in their place who were already planning their trips to Bracelona next year. 4 Cup finals left. It's gonna be tough, but anything could happen.

Arsenal's 'big' game left now is their trip to Hull on Saturday. Dress rehearsal for the final and Hull will be up for it. If the Arse win that and we fail to beat Utd - then i'll give up for good.

Oh well, we lasted one game when the pressure was on and got to 4th and wilted like a dead flower. Couldn't handle the pressure of needing a win and performed garbage for 3 quarters of that game.

After all the great play and press build up we fcuk up before the CL run in really got started. Typical Everton.

Still, on reflection we've improved so much under Martinez that next season is going to be better and we'll be back above the [Poor language removed]! COYB!

Cant believe how out of sorts we were tonight. Credit to Palace like for sticking to a game plan and frustrating us. Think we can safely say we wont get a better chance of qualifying for CL like we have had this season.

Im not even going to go there with saying certain players were sh!t etc cos from Martinez to the whole 11 we were poor and we best get our heads together and try and atleast finish 5th and make Europa!

No not really not because of us but because how easy arsenal's run in has turned out to be. But if we were going to do it 6 points simply had to come from palace and hull. Even if we win all our final games id be amazed if we got CL and much like liverpool needing to win the league this season if we were ever going to get 4th it had to be this season as next will be 7th at best IMHO

Plus as annoying as tonight is, it doesn't take away from what a great run of results we had to make us so dissapointed tonight.

We could have just lost to Palace and still be stuck in 7th place.

And i'd rather have lost to Palace but beaten Arsenal than vice versa.
