Yes as is his job. Good goal as well. How many points have we lost this season through poor finishing though. What is a strikers job? Just pointing out that a goal from a striker shouldn't make him man of the match unless his overall play is up there. It wasn't.

Such a strange season, we have been terrible for most of it, we are currently on 22 points,Spurs 5th on 29, we aren’t massively off being near the top 6. A few hard games coming up, but we could possibly have new faces in very soon and if the Carlo effect comes into place a top 6 finish,is still possible this season. If that did happen would be brilliant considering when Silva was here it seemed like he was taking us down. Just hope Carlos can get our terrible away record sorted. A lot of credit needs to go to a Dunc, he bridged the gap between silva and Carlos and got the confidence up, that was very important.

As much fun as that Chelsea game was, it would be hard to do that for 38 weeks. Especially against teams like Burnley today who are trying the same horrid stuff.

Can understand doing it against the big teams but not every match

A deserved grinded out three points today. Still lots to improve on, particularly in the final 3rd, but the passing and decision making was quicker all round the park. Onwards and upwards blues.

First half was a bit meh, but in the second half we got to grips with what Ancelotti wanted and looked decent with smatterings of good.
Thought Sidibe and Coleman linked well and plumped for Sidibe. Holgate was good again though.

Pleased with the victory. 4 league games unbeaten now, 8 points from a possible 12. It's been needed as well as club's below us have picked up unexpected points. It's a bit mad that as bad as we've been we are only 6 points from challenging for a European place.

Good, professional performance. Burnley came not to lose and were very difficult to break down. Some good performances today, DCL, Sidibe, Holgate, Delph, even Gylfi. I don't get the hate on here for him, always work hard, he needs a goal though,16 last season, 0 this season.

Is it my imagination, or did Bardsley elbow one of our players in the ribs in the last seconds of that game? Pretty sure the footage I watched had him doing that.
