RW will be priority and I think you’re right on both Iwobi and Bernard.

I would say we will try and loan someone to come in there if we do any business on the LW.

I think if we get the right attacking player for the right wing, we will see Richarlison swapping between left wing and LCF a little more.

The conundrum is that we play 2 in CB & 2 at CF in the 442.

If 3 CB's isnt enough "cover" then how can the club justify having only 3 CF's should Tosun/Sandro leave as expected?

I personally think we'll sign 5 players this window be it atleast 1 on loan.

I take your point, but as Neil said, we would just switch formations if we lost 2 of the 3 CFs. Not possible to do the same at the back

Alot easier to change from 2 up front, you have to play at least 2 centre backs

But then we get a 3 month lay off for a CF and we have no rotation/option off the bench.

I think its criminal for the club to not factor in potential injuries over the course of the season when you look at the sheer number of them that we seem to get.

The more the echo peddle this 3 signing nonsense the more I think they are just assuming.

I cant see the club not brining in a RB & CF in addition especially if Kenny & Tosun/Sandro leave this summer.

You also have LW in which I dont think Carlo rates either Bernard or Iwobi.

I like DCL , he brings a lot to the team , but I've not seen anything that tells me he is going to be a consistent goalscorer.

at his best he's a real handful for any defender (even the self proclaimed greatest defender ever VVD should have been sent off and given away a pen against him) and just being that nuisance will create space and chances for Richie. If he can contribute 10-15 goals a season as well then i ain't complaining.

The top goalscorers in the league are scoring between 15-20 every season, he has shown he can do it this season now just needs to keep it going into next and show he can be consistent.

I'm not trying to have a go, but he has shown he can do this. Maybe he drops off next season, but I suspect not.


I sort of agree wth you too, he will never look a natural, and will miss chances, but by christ he will get a lot of opportunities in games as well.

If DCL was our only attacking threat like Vardy or Ings and he only scored in a "purple patch" It would be gravely concerning but we have someone like Richarlison who spreads the goals out so I'm not really bothered of course if you want to make the step up to the next level as a striker you would need to do it over the season and not a small period but I would have been happy with 10 this season but to get 15 where our midfield has fallen off a cliff is pretty insane.
