you forgot the other movers as part of the restructure, i was hoping for a days re-cap thread at the end of today in case i missed anything as well ha I bet GOT has never had this many threads created in the everton forum in one day before.

Has walsh actually gone then?

You have been giving him pelters for weeks mate.

Kind of invalidates your conversion in many eyes.

my main concerns are regards the stadium and financing etc etc.

he may still appoint the wrong manager yet!

but for today I'm willing to cut him some slack.

I'm merely making the observation that his explanation for leaving his PSV post should have included mention of joining a club in England with a great past and huge potential for the future. It would have been nice if the jug-eared get would have said something along those lines.
I think he will be phenomenally good in his new job Dave

I’m intrigue to see Brands/Raiola partnership to be honest. Is there a publish list of players represented by Raiola? Surely there’s some top emerging talent we can tap into.

Having said that, this scum is also involve in Lukaku departure.

He represents probably most of Man United, Donnarumma, Justin Kluivert...

I was only talking about the 4 board members.

They were all 4 of them board members before this week, and all 4 of them were basically doing the exact same thing.

Harris was working on the stadium.

Sasha was working on commercial deals and financing.

DBB was already and Executive at the club.

There is no "fresh eyes" on the board there from where I sit.

Then you're wrong.

What we now have us a clear structure of roles throughout the club, with that comes responsibility, and pressure to perform.

With elstone as CEO, you had a clear confusion on all the issues at the club. Having a pathetic scout acting in a sort of dof role additionally created confusion and a sense of not knowing who was responsible for what.

Now what we have us a CEO who is the face of the club, one who without any shadow of a doubt has the best interests of Everton and it's image and responsibilities at the foremost.
We also have the stadium role being fully in the hands of Harris now, we have commercial operations in our russian directors, we have a DOF whose role it is to set forward the long term development and plan on the football side, including recruiting manager and players.

Anyone who doesn't think today was Everton finally joining in with the way modern successful clubs operate is blind.

For the first time possibly ever in recent years, it will be clear as day who dies dies throughout the club, just wait to see how prominent a public role Brands will have, the days of contract save appearing like a where's Wally character will be soon gone.

Predict we will see a change also in the communications department, woods moving on and another incoming board member and Kenwright gone or at the minimum in a very much honourary role very soon.

If he was a mod here only @ eggs @catcherintherye and 3 or 4 others would not be permanently banned lol

I'm not exactly convinced that DBB will be any different in that regard.
Anyone who thinks DBB would out some loyalty to Kenwright ahead of the club hasn't a clue about her past record, she has been the one unmitigated positive from this club over recent years, everything she's done has improved the image, gained the club massive respect and plaudits, and if moshiri has entrusted her as CEO, then sure as hell she isn't gonna bat against him and risk limiting the good things she's now in the position to do even more of.

Yesterday, the CEO fired. This morning, the manager fired. This afternoon, a DOF hired. Tomorrow morning, a manager hired? Tomorrow afternoon, our first signing?

Regardless, great start to the offseason, it both allays the fears some of us had that they were going to stick with the old staff, and shows that all of the bedwetters were once again, shockingly, wrong. Its been painfully obvious for some time that BFS was getting fired and Brands was coming in.
I think even Sam knew he was getting fired the day he was hired.
The original 6 month offer spoke volumes
