Phil Nev was my motm, he ran constantly. Epitomises our desires - he is now one of us. Led by example as always, even though in the first half the rest of the team failed to follow!

Cahill for me is at the moment a waste of space. For someone who is supposed to be the best at jumping for headers he is absolutely tosh. All he does is attempt a half hearted jump in the hope he gets a foul given for him, and if he doesn't he holds his head like he's been cracked. Does my ******* head in, and getting sick of seeing him doing it.

Rather he would put his energies to better use instead of moaning like a bitch.

As for the rest, how great they were against City they were the exact opposite in that first half. Pienaar looked like he couldn't be arsed with it, lacked the desire to go and find the ball, and Moyes needs to realise asap that Billy is not a winger, never has been and never will be.

Best player on the pitch by a country mile was Mikel Arteta, and that says an awful lot for the effort of the rest of the team.

Agreed, he needs to improve his consistency and more than anything, start giving us some goals, which is what he's in the team for really. He was brilliant against Arsenal, decent against City and awful today and that's seems to be the strory of his season so far.

I disagree on Pienaar, one thing you can't point at him is lack of effort or desire. But I do agree that his end product was poor, bar the assist for Osman goal.

He was suffocated in the first half, Birmingham barely gave him any room to work his magic and he had no one to link up with. He's a good attacking midfielder but he's not Arteta, he's not really someone who can sit and pass, dictate the play so to speak. He's a combination player, someone who likes to roam and find pockets of space in advanced positions.

On Arteta, he showed us in 20 minutes what we've been lacking all season. Someone who can drop deep, turn and start attacks. A very promising cameo from him, he oozes class.

Yep, Arteta was majestic in everything he does. Those little flicks to lose a player. He always seems to have time, whereas Pienaar doesn't.

He was trying outrageous through balls as well, literally minutes after coming on for his first game after a year out. Just shows how deeply ingrained it is into his play; Barca.

I just call it football. It's what I used to do at school. Some of us have it in our mindset.

Im well gutted.

Brum are [Poor language removed]. ******* [Poor language removed] anti-footy. Not taking away anything from them like, that's twice and we couldnt beat them. They did what we couldnt, defend and score.

But **** off. We should be winning these games....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. JUST **** OFF!!!!

And if Brum do get into Europe....the prem's gone made.

And they've got loads of money to spend too.

FFS!

Bollocks. That's all Im saying. Beaten at home by Barry Ferguson.

Come on, we used to play like that
