I'm not feeling too bad at the moment. If we get knocked out the Europa league i'm going to be suicidal though.

I am desperate to win something. And it's just not happening.

Well, one more chance to get into Europe lost. Top 6 is a big ask so we HAVE to win The Europa Cup now or no European footy next season :(

Distin's [Poor language removed] and Senderos is no better - when the fcuk's Jags back?

Let's get back on track against Sunderland on Weds and try and get a bit of consistency and belief back ready for the RS game

The season repesented the best chance in 15 years to do well in the FA cup, no sh1te or Manchester United in the doorway, and it's been blown away by a poor start performance and had too much work to do to get back in the second half, and as a result it's over for another year.

I don't feel like going out later, and don't wish to see match of the day, I feel depressed enough already without the need to see some miserable granite faced bores, you know who I'm getting at, there may be some other games worthwhile tuning into, will see how it goes.

Still feeling a degree or bitterness over todays outcome, should of made most of last season, you don't think at the time how far you've come.

Cahill has a tendency slows things down, he's predictable in his link up play and alot of our attacks break down because he's too slow on the ball, doesn't get his touch right or just plays the most simple and obvious pass available to him.

The most worrying thing for me is he doesn't look like scoring and as a 'second striker' it's a must really. We can't rely on Louis to score all the goals.

At the moment, agreed. Saha is off form a bit too which isn't helping.

Here's hoping Nigeria get knocked out of the ACN soon.

With performances like this, I can never relax can I? We are still very optimistic about euroupa league,so am I but with performances like this..I'm always gona have doubts. It's a shame. We lacked a finisher and a good composed defender who could read the game and the attack coming.

I'm all excited about Mikky being back and I loved the cheer he got from the fans when he took his first touch after 11 months despite us losing 2-1. Distin is our 2nd weakness right now after Hibbert. He is always shaky when clearing it got beat very easily for the 2nd goal. Hopefully Senderos is the answer I'm looking for until Jags gets back.

Cahill for me is at the moment a waste of space. For someone who is supposed to be the best at jumping for headers he is absolutely tosh. All he does is attempt a half hearted jump in the hope he gets a foul given for him, and if he doesn't he holds his head like he's been cracked. Does my ******* head in, and getting sick of seeing him doing it.

Rather he would put his energies to better use instead of moaning like a bitch.

As for the rest, how great they were against City they were the exact opposite in that first half. Pienaar looked like he couldn't be arsed with it, lacked the desire to go and find the ball, and Moyes needs to realise asap that Billy is not a winger, never has been and never will be.

Best player on the pitch by a country mile was Mikel Arteta, and that says an awful lot for the effort of the rest of the team.

first, well done to brum, very organised and played some decent football, could have been 3-0 up before we threatened.

first half.
didn't want it, looked awfull, birmingham won every 50/50.

First goal
How many times have we been hit on the break through baines not beating the first man from a set pieces?

Howard 6, didn't really do anything wrong.

Baines 5, apart from 2 pieces of skill (one for the goal) had a poor game.

Neville 4, some of the balls he played would not be out of place in sunday pub football.

Hetinga 7, ok

Distin 2, utter tosh

Fellaini 6, didn't play badly, but should have scored.

Pienaar 7, played better after about 20 mins, even better second half.

donavon 5, anonamous, left alot of space on the wing he should have filled.

Billy 3, looked awfull. no pace, weak and disinterested. (think he will come good)

Cahill 5, first touch is awfull, no vision. if he isnt scoring he brings little else apart from enthusiasm

Saha 6, should have scored two.

Subs
vaughn 5. enthusiastic, thats about it.
Osman 7, made things happen
arteta 7, good to seee him back, looked better the closer he got to pienaar.

Moyes 5, agreed with osman and arteta. can't see the point in taking your top scorer off for an average replacement.

I would have moved neville to CM ( for distin) and brought on coleman to attack their fullback.

Overall very disapointed but our squad is looking strong for the future.

Now, I know it's a post defeat Ghost shooting from the hip here but surely you don't mean that?

Yeah I do mean that. The only player who was looking for the ball. Look at the lack of long balls that occurred once he came on - says an awful lot about our midfield today.

That kind of Pienaar can leave if he wants to, just looked disinterested and hardly ever went looking for the ball. His passing and crosses were poor.

Hmmm. Arteta offered a couple of touches, and as sexual as they were, but didn't influence the game any.

I'd say Heitinga had a better game, or indeed Pienaar.

Agreed.
Distin is not what everton football club requires. We deserve better than him,I'm sure of that now. It's not the first time he's been tosh. That hull game was his worst!
