Hello you again. Just a couple of weeks ago the game against Birmingham in the league was a pretty one sided affair with Everton starting to find their form and confidence but lacking in the final third sadly.
Fast forward a month and were a bit happier really as were still unbeaten and have started getting some wins with Everton at times looking quite superb.
Birmingham will hope to give a better account of themselves as they underwhelmed a tad for a team who's seemingly been unbeaten for beards. That Yeung has got war crimes written all over him, despite being from Hong Kong, and seemingly has some money to splash about for a decent manager in Alex McLeish. Compact, solid and committed they won't shy from the tackles but momentum is a strange thing in sport and Everton have got some of that at the moment which makes us a wee bit more confident than the league fixture.
With the disappearance of midweek games it's likely Moyes will stick to a winning formula. Whilst it's been easy to pick out the real top performers in the past couple of weeks it's as much the players like Cahill, Neville & Heitinga put in steady performances which certainly impacts on the score too. Long may it continue.
(were) Going to Wembley twice (") last year was a nice change but for all the ace moments on the way it turned out in vain - Chelsea ran out deserved winners. It's something been identified by Moyes/Neville and the like that the one thing missing, and its quite a massive thing really, is winning some of them shiny goblets. That's what good teams do.
