How does picking penalty takers actually work do the staff pick them
On watching in training ,do the players volunteer, is it a bit of both ??

This is totally unfair in my view. The mentions of West Ham and Celtic in support of someone else who would take our manager as if the say ( as somebody actually did) “ be careful what you wish for “ is a sad indictment of where we are as a Club. One of those clubs couldn’t pick its own nose, never mind a manager hence the yo-yoing with young Martin O’Neill, whilst the other is an absolute basket case run by Alan Sugars bitch and a dildo trader. There’s a reason they’d be the right next port of call - it’s because they are at rock bottom and have zero foresight. Ask yourself would United, Sociedad or Sunderland take wee Davey back.
We had 12 barren years and learnt a whole lot about him in the latter 4-5 years to know it doesn’t get any better than predictable, inconsistent, cautious and dull to watch. We go to be entertained. Let’s not forget that.
I am sorry but no team other than Everton would pay 42m for a player for the future as you put it.This is totally unfair in my view.
How can he be judged on the collection of players signed by other incompetents. Added to that we have lost 5/6 guaranteed first teamers from an already threadbare squad. No manager in the world could cope with that. The signings he has made are clearly for the future - and no-one could have foreseen the ridiculous suspensions that have massively impacted us at this stage.
When he arrived he saved our bacon. We were absolutely doomed.
Let him get a couple of signings in - that he chooses - get the lads back from suspension / afcon then see how we do.
There's no one else out there who could work wonders with the current first 11.
He deserves a fair chance to build his own team.
Sick of hearing "The future"I am sorry but no team other than Everton would pay 42m for a player for the future as you put it.
Chelsea have done it and I'd bet City have too.I am sorry but no team other than Everton would pay 42m for a player for the future as you put it.
Both are wealthy clubs and do not have squads woefully short on numbers.Chelsea have done it and I'd bet City have too.
The finance of these clubs including all other oil state ownership really needs to be banned. It's disgusting and the Premier League scrutineers are getting rings ran round them. It's football suicide. Both are wealthy clubs and do not have squads woefully short on numbers.
Exactly. After reading the BBC interview with Castore co founder, I will not be purchasing anything else from them. He has lost any grip on reality.Just so they can fleece the fans I think mate.
This. We're not going down but if its still dire at the end of March, then think about bringing someone new in.I truth is that with the players currently available we are not going to beat any Premier League team. Those available are not Premier League standard. Moyes could be the illegitimate off spring of Ferguson shagging Carlo and he still couldn’t conjure up a winning side. We need our creative players back from suspension, injury and international duty and a couple of buys and then judge him.

Every manager inherits other managers players, it's not something only DM has experienced. If his management is as good as you consider why did he make signings "clearly for the future" when his job is the here and now? We spent a decent amount and every team has injuries and suspensions. True, the last few weeks have been a struggle, but the poor performances and style of football have been here since the day he returned. Personally, I want to be entertained, not have to sit through slow, cautious and pedestrian football. I really don't understand why our squad is the least able in the division to retain possession, pass and move fluently and play two consistent halves in a game. Has there been a single game this season where you can honestly say you were entertained? Even the Bournemouth and United away wins were a seriously hard watch. This is totally unfair in my view.

Terry, take a seat and re-read what you've just written.Chelsea have done it and I'd bet City have too.
Totally different thread that Terry. The finance of these clubs including all other oil state ownership really needs to be banned. It's disgusting and the Premier League scrutineers are getting rings ran round them. It's football suicide.
