We couldn't even get a free transfer over the line who's manager was leaving 9 months later.well if we do we have to get more

They'll be right with that viewpoint
It means we'll struggle. Again. The hangover of so much paid out walking for nothing needs facing. The alternative is a few big sales and hoping we can cover the losses. We'll get away with Myko and a few others facing 3rd division level players and doing ok, but going up against top 6 types from Germany, Italy, Spain, and France (or a few outliers like Bodo) and we'll come unstuck and how.and that means… what we won’t get players?

If we keep playing this way it is almost inevitable. We will need a deeper squad so Moyes will have to work on his rotatations a bit and find which players he can get a tune out of in Europe. Hopefully Dibbles comes on a bit next season as that would save us a lot of headache in the wing department. We have 4 solid CB's and a solid central midfield. We desperately need fullback depth a winger and a striker. Would not be opposed to getting an inside forward that can play up top similar to an Ndiaye type player. European footy is a different league than Grokball in England.
If we sign some actual fullbacks, we already have most of a Europa squad on the current roster. Could easily start Tim, Rohl, Alcaraz, Armstrong, George(if we perm'd), Tarkowski, Keane, Barry. We dont really need to add that many players in the summer to give us the depth we would need.A positive is Rohl can kick on if Europa is secured as he has plenty of experience with Freiburg. If Alcaraz is also still around he should be fine in that competition so big hitters could still be saved for prem.
even if we made the conference league we might be able to introduce 1-2 of our promising youth players like Graham to some competitive minutes in games with all due respect would be a very poor standard of opposition you can come across in the conference group stages. if we do make Europe the important thing is we Target Quality to improve the first 11 rather than adding depth to the squad. If we sign some actual fullbacks, we already have most of a Europa squad on the current roster. We wouldn't win Europa either cos likelihood is one of Chelsea or Liverpool and a while host of top European sides would be in it.Yeah you're right with that. I just want to see a trophy won
Last time we made the Champions League, Moyes wasted every penny we spent and set us back years. We were laughed out of two European comps and struggled in the league.either way we will have to buy and strengthen
