Who knows Matty? No-one is grabbing the 5th place at the moment
we’re have to win all the games mate!
and then hope others will lose!

I think if we beat Brentford and the RS in our next 2 we're right in with a chancewe’re have to win all the games mate!
Yeah you're right with that. I just want to see a trophy won

I think we'll manage the extra workload, can't for the life of me seeing us being involved in a relegation battle with how solid we are defensivelyYeah, as do we all, but at the same time, I'd rather not see us in the Championship just because we'd smash it.
No pressure of course as I'd be happy even if we quality for the Conference Leagueanything is possible but i’m not pressuring that we do it!

Some fans were in a panic last summer with the transfer business saying we're going to have a tough season in a relegation battle. I never understood that as like you say Moyes will give you a certain level where you'll be competitive at least in the midtable but the question with Moyes as ever is can he take us higher than that which he's currently doing I'm happy to sayDavid Moyes doesn't do relegation battles mate.
Now, doubtlessly, somebody is gonna pop up and say 'but what about Sunderland?'
I've got my opinions on that, and they basically start with ' but yeah, he resigned after taking them down, and then they got relegated again'. That club was clearly a basket case in that moment in time.

True to a point though I don't think the teams at the top are playing at an amazing level so it's not the gulf of a few seasons backYeah, I get the 'ceiling' argument, but then I've never quite agreed with the logic of it. If we were spending money like one of the big boys, then that argument would carry a bit more weight.

They'll be right with that viewpointTrue enough, but don't forget that most fans of those clubs are looking at it and thinking they're underperforming or not being good enough.
We've had some bad performances this season, some really insipid 90 minute no shows.
We'd need to massively upgrade the quality and depth of the squad to carry a euro competition beyond the first handful of games.
8 games a month through Ndiaye and D-Hall isn't going to last long. A few cup game hangovers rolled into bad results in the league and the support will be gnashing teeth. We can barely patch a first eleven together, look around at the sides carrying europe this season, it's a huge ask to get anywhere let alone the quarters and onward.
