The Foxes go into their last 16, second leg with Sevilla 2-1 down from the first game, and if Craig Shakespeare's side pull off another miracle by winning the competition, they would gain a fifth Champions League spot for the Premier League.

With five clubs then qualifying for the Champions League, and a maximum of seven allowed to qualify from Europe from England, only fifth and sixth-place teams would then qualify for the Europa League.



But what happens if the more likely event of Man U winning the Europa and don't finish top 4? That would mean 5 CL places, would it stop us getting EL?

No because there Europa spot would move down one. So you'd have 5 CL teams and 2 EL (6th and 7th)

That's not the point. Until they are knocked out, 7th is not mathematically certain of EL.

It's totally irrelevant if they go through this round, though....at some point they would meet teams like Real or Barca
