Sounds like you could be correct then, I apologise.

I think what's thrown me and a few others is Sevilla winning the EL last year, but they also finished 7th. Barcelona won the Cup, but also had a place in the CL, so I am guessing their place would have gone to 7th (Sevilla) but Sevilla already had a place from winning the EL.

So Spain had the top 4 + Sevilla (EL winners) in the CL this season. 5 teams.
And 5th and 6th in the EL as normal (6th get Europe as there is no League Cup in Spain from what I can see). 2 teams

Is that correct?

Sounds like it is different in England this season because Leicester are outside of the top 7, unlike Sevilla/Real Madrid last season.

Yes, Sevilla have triggered the 5+2 rule in Spain the last couple of seasons as they won the EL and finished in a EL qualifying spot.

Leicester being outside the EL qualifying spots (top 7) is a different case.

For everyone's sanity, the mods should lock this thread until Leicester are eliminated from the CL. Then we'll have a much clearer picture.

Bottom lines are

●Keep Baggies behind us [a must]
●See if ManU results give us group stage or qualifications
●Leicester wont win CL, they wont bare any weight in this

What would everyone's dream group stage be?

Me, I'd love a trip to either Inter or Lazio, one of Marseille/Braga and some Romanian Sunday League side so it's that bit easier for us to qualify to the knockouts.

Inter, Hertha Berlin and someone dire but not Balkan or beyond.

Dinamo Batumi: city is sub tropical resort on banks of black sea with casinos and clubs with indoor swimming pools, includes a statue in praise of georgia's 33-letter aplhabet, an upside down white house, and buildings that copy the great lighthouse of alexandria and the acropolis

no visa, and they've already qualified

Batumi nightlife is crazy as Miami

By the way, try to court the girls inside the nightclub first. Don’t thing that everyone in the nightclub are prostitute. Some of the girls in the club just local Georgian girls who came for fun just like you. If you are lucky to find one of local girl, you will only be paying for your drinks and the hotel room.

and the mandarin club even has loos: http://gobatumi.com/en/what-to-do/entertainment/mandarin/208

Nice idea, but their group doesn't mean UEFA standards, so the game would be played in Tblisi.

2 out of 3 from these 3 countries

Spain: Athletic Bilbao
Germany: Hertha Berlin/Eintracht Frankfurt/FC Koln
Italy: Inter/AC Milan

Then an easy tie against a side from a Nation we'd expect to beat like Czech Republic or eastern Europe (not Russia or Ukraine).

the capital must also have clubs with toilets, statues lauding the 33-letter alphabets, places to drink where all the girls aren't prostitutes and at least one upside down global national parliamentary building, surely
