Not all of them, but most of them were bought by lies and misinformation. I can make that guessed based on the fact the result was leave. There are a great many idiots in this country, and not many of them voted remain.
Now these people went from turning their heads away from experts and waving their hands and saying "Nothing bad will happen, it's just scare mongering", to "Its only short term, we knew this", and soon enough "one day it will be worth it".

Forgive me if "I told you so" doesn't quite appease me. I'm not just mad at the idiots, I'm mad at the government for allowing such lies to be told.
