Absolutely! It's so ludicrous! They campaigned for Brexit then....hang on! We don't like THIS Brexit! Boris (who threw them under a bus) tells them that he never meant to abide by the agreement anyway. They believe it (lol) and make loads of posters and paint a lot of messages on walls about borders and stuff. All a lot easier than admitting they were idiots who overplayed their hand and were ultimately, the fall guys. Meanwhile, Britain's integrity is trashed. Imagine believing ANYTHING Johnson says. It would actually be funny if it wasn't so precarious.

I would guess that most Brexit supporters didn’t want any kind of agreement and would have been more than happy going to WTO…..

Forgive me, but where does it say there that they're able to attract and recruit scientists from around the world?

Are you suggesting that the U.K. can only attract scientists from all parts of the world (North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Australasia, India etc etc), if we are a member of the EU ?

Brexit not all bad:

In the year to September, the value of imports to the Republic from Northern Ireland has grown by a hefty 60% to almost €2.6 billion. Meanwhile, the value of goods moving in the opposite direction has ballooned by almost 50% over the same period last year to €2.8 billion.

So, with the introduction of full customs declarations due from 1 January 2022, how is UK trade shaping up for the next tranche of Brexit implementation?

Frankly, I am not optimistic it is all going to go smoothly. But I am sure @peteblue can show us the way.

Had a glimpse at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/help-an...-exporting-goods-to-europe-from-great-britain

All I could think was "why, oh why, oh why?". No doubt some people are getting very rich from all this. But it not thee and me.

No one says we don’t like foreigners except Remoaners…just read this thread….
Ask some foreigners what it sounded like to them. I worked for a multinational company and my overseas friends viewpoint was pretty much “well if that’s your attitude”

Not manysaw all the of the nuances of European policy that you do. Most people saW gap toothed, tracksuited morons saying very clearly that they didn’t like foreigners.

And so do I and there were many EU nationals who live in the UK along with all other different nations from across the globe and they voted leave. But something about white English not like forens eh!.

Ps. I'm not white.
