It’s an issue of Visa processing charges isn‘t it, Amazon believe they are excessive. They still accept Visa debit and other credit cards. It has nothing to do with Brexit and I must have missed the bit in the article you posted saying it was Brexit related…
While in the EU Visa and other credit card companies are restricted in the fees they can charge. Now they're out of it, they can up the fees, much like the phone companies have with roaming charges.
