Dunno really... maybe the past 50 years of trade and support for the EU?Why would they trust us?

Sadly I suspect a part of the reason is that there has been a complete breakdown in trust between them and the Johnson administration, which is perhaps understandable given the attempts to break international law earlier in the year....
So if it was a crazy idea and assuming the EU is not crazy, why did they do it.
I would think that if the world was a single country then it would be a wonderful place, and maybe one day it will be. But more of the EU is not the answer......
You've said before that you don't want Poles and Muslims in your neck of the woods so you're probably more Orban than EU tbh.Are we? I think we all accept the EU exists and we still want to trade with them.
Right wing? OK then...
I vote Labour from a long line of Labour voters
It may come as a surprise to people on this forum... but not all Labour voters live the EU
And despite all that, we were willing to undermine it by telling them after lengthy negotiations (what we agreed with them in good faith), we were willing to break because, as part of a negotiation we initiated to break up that partnership, they weren't giving us exactly what we wanted.Dunno really... maybe the past 50 years of trade and support for the EU?

What gives you the right to judge other people's lives?I haven't said that. I have no problem with either living and working here if they are skilled and needed

No, it really doesn't, not least over the lives of people who have no vote themselves. What an abominable suggestion. They're human beings, not your pet.My vote gives me that right.

Im afraid it does Bruce. You may not like it... but it does. No, it really doesn't, not least over the lives of people who have no vote themselves. What an abominable suggestion. They're human beings, not your pet.

A citizen of the UK gets to vote on policies in the UK, foreign nationals living here do not.
I got to vote on whether I wanted mass uncontrolled immigration into continue and I voted No.
Thats the harsh truth
