They won’t mate as they are too embarrassed and ashamed of themselves, it’s their default position. I read something the other day which went something like

leave won the referendum
Tories win the election
Tories drew up the withdrawal agreement
Tories campaigned for Brexit again
Tories win another election
Tories carried out the discussions for leaving with the EU

Yet this mess is the fault of remainers

This isn’t the exact quote but was the general gist of it.

There’s no doubt why this is the case - look at the papers, tv, radio and social media.

There is consistent messages everywhere telling people it’s the fault of someone, anyone, else. This will be cranked up the worse it gets or the sooner an election approaches.

I said this yesterday, but if there’s any doubt anyone has about the truth of the above look at what’s happening in the US now with Trump.

Such folk are about for sure, I'm a staunch remainer and a europhile (as this thread has probably made clear lol) but the EU is far from perfect, needs reform and continued challenge. A French colleague of mine said something really interesting a while back, a lot of Europeans value the UK being a thorn in the EU's side, challenging assumptions, being the sceptic in the room, the reluctant member, he feels the EU needs that from us.
People bang on about EU rules and regulations, forgetting that we're not passive recipients of this but active in the process. The 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act enabled the UK to drive the EU up to our standards, similarly with data protection (my field), the UK was one of the driving forces in constant innovation and legislative reform across the continent.
We're losing the ability to be that force of change and will likely end up often being passive recipients of regulation we have no power to change or influence.
If you're in a leaky tub on a tempestuous sea, personally I think the best approch is to stay aboard and try and fix the boat, not leap into the sea and hope for the best!

There comes a time when history moves on and relationships change. Like it or not we have reached such a moment. Now our leaving of the EU could have been done very amicably to the benefit of both parties but for the EU this is about penalising the U.K.. They seem to think that the harder they make life for us, the more likely we’ll come running back, or showing other potential leavers the consequences of leaving their dream project. It will have the opposite effect, we will take the hit and everything else they can dream up as punishment. I agree that the U.K. is a force for change, and that’s exactly what we are doing right now......

Objectively, literally hating 4 things is actually quite a lot.

Literal hated of 'about 4 things' sounds like you haven't really thought this through

It really does depend on what those 4 things are...

We left without a plan, calling them worse than [Poor language removed] in the process. The buck stops at you guys, not the effin Eu.

Sorry, should have made clear 'positive force for change'.
