Hi Bruce,
You know the photo and songs are in jest. A little levity today.

And as I've said before, and you know full well because you are an intelligent person, neither campaign had any executive function to allocate even one penny from Treasury funds. And that's a fact. I really am surprised you are still peddling the same old garbage, Bruce...

Anyway, main focus now is for our lot NOT to screw up against Watford today in an hour's time after the extra-time shambles in our last game against the Barcodes...

It's not about being able to do things, it's about knowing what is possible to do. Gove, Johnson et al were all in senior cabinet positions, so had access to all the data available on the state of play in the government, so they knew full well what was possible, and what the best government advisors thought advisable. So, for them to actively campaign for the opposite, before then backtracking and agreeing with the experts that their campaign pledges wouldn't be possible is appalling. I'm just amazed that you're not willing to hold them to account for it.

It certainly encouraged people to dig their heels in, rather than make them open to being persuaded. Not just racism calls but words like thick, gullible, sheep, fascist and Tory haven't helped either.

I'm not sure if you voted leave or remain mate, but if you are a remainer you are the first one I've seen actually acknowledge this point. Thank you for that.

I voted remain and I'm just really sad about the whole thing.

But it's democracy and I accept it.

Nah mate. I work there often. Screwed over by Tory cuts then voted them in on Xenophobic ideas. Hear it time and time again. People blaming immigrants to cuts in their benefits etc etc.
Labour did not know how to deal with brexit but the tories knew they could just wolf whistle to the right. How else do you explain collapses in votes for UKIP and brexit party.
Also I do claim the moral high ground cos I’m not racist. Funny bedfellows you have

"...People blaming immigrants to cuts in their benefits..." Really? Having worked in the benefits system for nigh on 33 years, I know that benefit rates are set by Parliament, so I do not believe this contention.

Labour did not know how to deal with Brexit, I agree. But they should have known. Corbyn should have said, in so many words, 'We will honour the Referendum result, but work towards a more equitable society embracing all of our people.' I think something like that would have kept a lot more 'onside' and would not have resulted in the loss of so many northern seats. Starmer did not help things either, every time he opened his mouth on TV!

And finally, I'm not racist, however much you want to label me as such. Just pack that utter crap in against individuals. You are making yourself look absolutely bitter, you know, what the RS accuse us of. You are heading towards being the epitome of it...

Here's the thing Bruce. It isn't a fact. It is an opinion. You are very very good at expressing your opinions as facts.

Well the lies the media told about supposed EU rules is very much a fact. My belief that this constant drip drip of not only Brussels introducing crazy rules, but having a significant impact on long standing British traditions, had a significant impact on British opinion of the EU seems wholly logical to me. I mean, we're not going to sit here and say the media have no influence over how many people form an opinion, are we?

How is calling out people being xenophobic & racist having a horrible nasty agenda?

Sit down ffs.
For disagreeing with you?

Actually think about it. You all went for a vote one way or another. One side won so the other side have called them for everything ever since. Calling them racist and xenophobic simply because you didn't get your own way?

There is an alternative, we could replace democracy in this country with a dictator who doesn't give the people the choice. Part of me thinks that's preferable to whining and moaning about others disagreeing with you.

So yes , it's childish and pathetic even now. People voted, some people lost and some won. Like any other vote , until people realise that by throwing a temper tantrum won't get their own way, then politics in this country is dead.

Bad news for everyone outside London and university campuses, if true.
Has truth to it though.
If you have the option of a couple of league 2 teams, a conference team and a premier League team
He funded Brexit ffs lol

Quoting Putin as the voice of reason. Oh my days.
It's true though.

Side thought, imagine someone like Putin as president of USA, he could literally take over the world/destroy the planet.

He is retired so what can we expect?
been retired since 2003 with ill health via a tumour Bruce - missed my job fell on hard times 6 months half sick pay my wife set up a business selling plants at car boots to survive before I got my ill health pension - nothing fell on my lap bruce... and if you asked me would I would rather be back at work in my vocation with good health then Yes would be the answer..... with a full pension looming and not 2/3rds and a retirement one could enjoy.....

Didn’t expect this to hurt so badly. What a betrayal of our youth. If you voted leave and have children, congratulations, you’ve severely damaged their future. I hope you choke on your celebratory Wetherspoons.

Could you give me the lottery numbers by PM, please. You appear to know 100% what the future holds. If you can see into it to that extent, I await your PM...

To all Remainers, this is what is called a joke. J O K E

Of course not, how can you possibly negotiate better terms. But we can negotiate with who we want, when we want. We can remove our ultimate political leaders from office. Our government has no excuses and no one else to blame anymore. We stand on our own two feet again....
So, pretty much the same as it has been for the past 50 years, just with worse trade deals.
I'm sure there must be some benefits to the UK, hopefully we get to find out what they are in the coming years.

You understand that none of this prohibits you from childish antics, which was the point @Bruce Wayne was making.

I'll repeat it until it sinks in.

The two campaigns had NO Executive function to allocate any funds whatsoever from the Treasury. They campaigned, In or Out, and at the point of the Referendum taking place, they ceased to exist.

That is not difficult to understand, is it...?
