Boris is doing OK. I wouldn’t have allowed Huawei into the 5G network, but they help build 3G and 4G and the spooks don’t seem too bothered. The Conservatives are currently polling at 49% with Labour at 29%, it’s early days and still in a honeymoon period, but he’s doing OK......

From what I understand, which is pretty limited in this tech stuff, they are not going to be "in" the network, they will be like the pipes in the water supply. With no access to the water.

Aerials and stuff basically.

Trump et al are not really seeing it that way... Our fate with China was sealed some years when Uncle Xi got the full state visit from the Tory Government.

Exactly correct Sky use them the are light years ahead of anyone - I posted below that most goods we buy now in hi tech are from China....
EG 2018

All Brexiteers, Huawei says hi. And America free trade gets :red:. :coffee:
We were never getting one anyway according to you lot so this hasn't changed anything.

I get the feeling most posters in here actually want the UK to fail just so you can say I told you so.

Even when Everton had Allardyce as manager, I still wanted us to win.

Got told their software is already used by Sky and other UK firms - its like most thing you buy its made in China TVs, Pcs telephones etc.... Osborne & Cameron had already agreed to this on expanding 5G .......
Indeed Geopolitics not so easy when free trade deal are all the rage.

And 5g is a whole different ball game, think of fibre and 4g as incarnations horse and cart and 5g as McLaren Mercedes MP4/23 as a train.

Trump will have the hump, and there will be repercussions for the UK. Not just in their eyes a sercruity risk, more importantly puts us at significant technological equal and the UK market, they themselves wanted to exploit. So F U Trump and America First.

Maybe Trump can have average age of a Brexiteer Social care contract...

It will be no different to the agricultural deal the UK and the USA will negotiate......

More really of told you so, about going it alone, get used to it.

I don't work in agriculture, however, I do come into contact with many UK farmers through my work. I'll pass on your patriotism, could you point me in the direction where I may be able to find it?

The problem isn't immigration, it's how it's handled,
Were not a big country and there's not a lot of space. There should of been a plan to predict population rise and see how much housing we have available, then that number available should of seen that many immigrants come in with a set plan already laid out so they can come in.

What labours Blair did was open the borders and when too many came we couldn't handle them. Also little/no checks you had murderers from other countries let in with no background checks
We have a £4TR state pension deficit and we need more working age tax payers to help counter the ageing population, and essential pay for their retirement.

The ‘we’re full’ argument is tripe. We need to build more housing, and challenge some of the nimbyism that’s stifled it. What ‘checks’ are you proposing that we don’t already have? People can still enter this country post Brexit as tourists ffs, the idea that the country has somehow been filled with EU murderers is xenophobic nads.
