I dont believe any Leavers will ever understand what many Remainers position on all this is. Simply because they seem to think we love the EU, and all it stands for.

That suits their uninformed, or poorly informed, narrative. "We won" "The UK will thrive" kinda stuff. They may well be right.

Me, (we), just didnt want to throw our kids and grandkids under a bus based on lies and bluster from some pretty dubious and unpleasant chanchers.

I hope your conscience will be clear in a few years time. If not, you have the humility to admit you were foolish servants of forces that manipulated you.

Do you seriously think that I would throw my granddaughter under a bus, or any of my four kids. Everything I have done in my adult life has been for them. Every penny I have earned has been earmarked for them. I want the best for my family and the best is not being part of the self serving EU......you may disagree, but I make up my own mind and I am not some simpleton following manipulative forces. I don’t believe any remainer will ever understand Leavers btw.....

Fair enough, but if you go back and re-read your last few replies to Joey, asking for an IQ test seemed consistent with what you'd said previously.

I don't agree with Joey's politics, but I don't see the need to call him such things as a "fool".

People talking down to others in an elitist way is one of many reasons why people voted to leave the EU ( and / or vote Tory for that matter. )
I if these upstarts were a £ behind me they would be happy.......your health is the most important thing in life......

Oh really? I thought it was for sound economic reasons. People like Joe are not the problem as you say...the tory apologists are..in my humble opinion...Pretend compassion..like their vacuous leader Cummings. (PS...I like Pali Gap.. my fave JMH track ;);))

Have you always been cynical and bitter, or has it come about due to some personal tragedy. Either way I hope you can come to terms with your problems and can find some form of happiness in life......

I think it’s time that people just backed off from having a go @Joey66. Whether anyone supports it or not, on Friday at 11.00pm we leave the EU. It’s done, we are out. There will be a lot of crap thrown about by all sides, Remainers, Leavers, UK, EU and ROI, but one way or the other by the end of this year either a deal will be done or no deal will be done. Either way we all have to live with it. Some Remainers on here have openly wished for a sensible deal to be done, while one or two will no doubt wish the it turns into batshit just to prove a point. We are where we are guys, get used to it.......

That's fine and all well and good but when Joey says "it'll all be fine in 4 or 5 years" is it wrong to ask him why? And is there anything to back this up? As a committed remainer I'm openly frustrated that the same evasion tactics deployed before rhe referendum are still being used to full effect all these years later!

Not rich ......I do care about democracy which is a crime on this thread.....

it’s not a crime joey, people have different opinions to yours and they’re stating their beliefs. It’s called a discussion.

it may help if you could provide some facts to support your argument rather than just calling everyone remoaners
