Yes, a person from a poor background has exactly the same life chances as one of similar ability who's parents have wealth and connections... A cursory glance around parliament ought to put pay to that theory.

It's about opinions I voted twice to stay in the trade deal of the ECC - no to a polictical union ....anyway we are out people like Alister Campbell who says he will refuse the new Brexit 50p and ask the shop keeper for two 20ps, and a ten pence piece - really the Spin Doctor who convinced us to invade Iraq - he already been thrown out of the Labour Party if it's a Brexitier shop keeper or if theirs a cue in the shop he's likely to get thrown out of the shop too......it's pathetic...by him !

I think it’s time that people just backed off from having a go @Joey66. Whether anyone supports it or not, on Friday at 11.00pm we leave the EU. It’s done, we are out. There will be a lot of crap thrown about by all sides, Remainers, Leavers, UK, EU and ROI, but one way or the other by the end of this year either a deal will be done or no deal will be done. Either way we all have to live with it. Some Remainers on here have openly wished for a sensible deal to be done, while one or two will no doubt wish the it turns into batshit just to prove a point. We are where we are guys, get used to it.......
