Bleedin hell even the likes Duncan Smith recognises this is not the case... Not sure where that leaves you.
I can only talk about where I grew up and how people here did things.
Parents worked hard moved to a half decent area when they got enough money.
Made sure kids did well In school/college/uni and got a good job.

I understand this isn't the same for everyone but it's how things were done by most people who lived where I grew up.

Much evidence says otherwise for many people... Indeed we are on the cusp of the next generation will not even attain the same wealth as the generation before let alone greater.

Also, I expect a even greater burden of funding the state will now fall on the middle classes, more and more evidence all the time that these socioeconomic groups are the greater burden on all our finances and each government brings financial burdens to bare on them. Just the juicy fruit to extract from Social Care to tackle...

Much of Brexit was about these pressures. Its good when Bartek from Poland is the cheapest for the man cave extension, and wife Lena is caring for granddad at Sunnyside, not so good when they want the same expectations to people they once serviced.

Out of interest "mate" where did you "grow up" ?

I dont believe any Leavers will ever understand what many Remainers position on all this is. Simply because they seem to think we love the EU, and all it stands for.

That suits their uninformed, or poorly informed, narrative. "We won" "The UK will thrive" kinda stuff. They may well be right.

Me, (we), just didnt want to throw our kids and grandkids under a bus based on lies and bluster from some pretty dubious and unpleasant chanchers.

I hope your conscience will be clear in a few years time. If not, you have the humility to admit you were foolish servants of forces that manipulated you.

Evening Joey sir. I note in an earlier post you mention it may take 4/5 years before we feel the full benefit of Brexit. What is it after those years that'll change to make it positive do you think?
It's just about it all settling down the whole process - there's will be friction at first no doubts, but when it prospers it will settle down .....

No one manipulates 17.4 million voters .....
