Serious question though Pete... why is this deal now acceptable when (and let’s be totally honest) a better deal negotiated by May was voted down 3 times ? In the house. Johnson even resigned his post because of it ? I just don’t understand how people can now swallow this.... or is it just a case of any way out will do.

deperation...remain will become a bigger possibility if this doesnt get through

Well ok, but surely Scotland is not the special case that NI is for one very important reason.......it doesn’t have a land border with another EU state.

Of course you are right, it is two separate cases, politically, geographically and historically. However the Scots can point out validly if they (NI) get a special deal then why can't they? Yes it would mean a hard border between themselves and England but they would probably take that.

For me the EU is acting like a previous era colonialist, ever expanding, integrating and harmonising. It will eventually bump up big style with Russia and I don’t wish to be part of it when it does. I’m quite happy being part of a little island minding its own business and looking after itself.....

Russias economy is smaller than Germany's. There is 0 need to be afraid of Russia you paranoid loon.

You are absolutely right Bruce, and I’ve mentioned this before that the WA is merely the first step. However, because of the actions of the ultra Remainers and the cynicism of Corbyn, the country needed some clarity of in or out, because treading water was just fermenting further division. The absolutely disgraceful Benn Act will come to be accurately seen as the surrender document as described by Boris, and the final nail in the coffin of trust in our parliamentarians.

When this thing goes through the country can stop talking about Brexit and focus it’s attentions on doing the things that need to be done.....
May and/or Johnson could've said yes a British PM would in fact have a hard border in the Irish Sea, that would've moved things along.

But there's no debate there Neil - it's just totally inaccurate. As in, not opinion, factually.

If it doesnt get through, it means there is likely to be an extension , which means it is more likely there will be another referendum, which is the only path to possibly remaining

so more likely to remain if this deal doesnt pass

No - that is completely wrong.

No deal - EU appetite is NOT for an extension. We can ask for it, but the LEGAL reality is that it is not the default position.

And again - a new referendum is NOT the only path to remain. Article 50 can be revoked.

The question is, are the EU peed off with the Tories/Brexit Party or are they peed off with the UK as a whole?
