But who gives a crap whether the ROI trusts the U.K, certainly the EU don’t, and it doesn’t even register with the U.K. The ROI will be put back in their box by the EU or the ROI will be bankrupt due to no deal. Whatever sympathy you had from either the U.K. or the EU is disappearing at a rate of knots as the big money and politics comes into play. Evasion is a crime...

Avoidance is sensible... if you have an ISA you're a tax avoider.

The trick is to make the more egregious examples of avoidance into evasion.

Sorry, but that is rubbish. ISA, pensions and anything else that the state has deliberately reduced / removed the tax on to encourage their use are absolutely not "avoidance". To say that they are implies that the actual scams that go on are legal, when they are not.
