I would say under the current systems less so than it has in the past.

Theres people dying under this tory system.

Our experience of it, being virgins so to speak, verged between pretty good, then cocking dreadful, then worse, then back to being pretty decent. It seems that loads of computers around the UK send out random letters that contradict each other, often 3 or 4 at a time, but when you an actually manage to speak to a human, things eventually get sorted.

Majority of benefit fraud cases that I’ve encountered have come about largely by accident, or they’ve had a change in circumstances and conveniently forgot to notify the relevant agencies. Anecdotal evidence for sure but I cannot for the life of me think how this relates to our membership of the EU. Some ignorant folk posting on this thread right now.

Evasion is a crime...

Avoidance is sensible... if you have an ISA you're a tax avoider.

The trick is to make the more egregious examples of avoidance into evasion.

Sorry, I’m not getting your point. I didn’t mention tax fraud, by which I assume you mean tax evasion? Make tax evasion harder? Definitely, as it’s illegal.

Say perhaps agreements very similar to the ones on the table now.
