Why ? They know that parliament do not want a no deal. They know that Boris will win an election and could then force through a no deal. They quite rightly in my opinion believe that Boris will push it through at either the first second or third attempt while the clock runs down.....
*Johnson.

Johnson could have come up with a deal which suited everyone and nobody would like it just out of principle.

Labour don't want any deal done. DUP obviously a sticking point here too. But my point is whatever happened they were gonna reject it.

I'm guessing - deal doesn't get through, Johnson asks for an extension. EU give 3-5 weeks.

General election called.

If Labour refuse again, then I don't see how anyone can defend them. That's their chance to do something and - if they really are gonna stick to what they've said and honour the referendum result or attempt to get a deal - then they would surely have to take up a gen election?

They are first and foremost Tories. Watch how many of the ex-Tories line back up with them on Saturday.
Of course they will. But not all will. Some have already joined the LibDems, others are retiring anyway and they'll relish handing Johnson a kick in the bollocks. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

If we add those (possibly 8 who'll vote against and a few more abstaining) to the DUP 10 who will oppose it, Johnson has a task and a half to get enough Labour MPs to back a terrible deal for their constituents like this...MPs who'll have the whip removed and replaced for the next election if they do, btw.

IMO this vote loses by about 10-15.
