I’m not advocating a break up, but if that’s what people want then so be it. Oh and it’s not 500 years.....
My bad... 416 years.

I would happily see them go,if they voted that way .I’m not advocating a break up, but if that’s what people want then so be it. Oh and it’s not 500 years.....
That's puerile, you haven't a clue...... hanging on to power and achieving a majority is the only position you support, as long as it's the Tory party . You don't give a flying feck about anything or anyone else.
It did seem odd yesterday that those claiming the dastardly EU would use the deadline and threat of no deal against us and the 'surrender Act' would mean concessions that will result in a worse deal than the one the PM resigned over, were simultaneously pumping the message that this all a massive win for Johnson. So this deal's going well then....![]()

I think we all now see what the name of the game was in replacing May with Johnson: the former could never sell a surrender deal to the Tory Party, the latter can.
It won't get through Parliament in any event. But it's genuinely sad to see people promised something they thought would be glorious and return us to empire, now complicit in possibly the break up the union and accepting any old muck deal because of a mutual embarrassment factor of Johnson needing to save face and those pinning their hopes on him having to do the same, lest they look like Remainers have won or give any sort of impression that this was not all part of the master plan.I think we all now see what the name of the game was in replacing May with Johnson: the former could never sell a surrender deal to the Tory Party, the latter can.

As much as leave 'won the vote' they have very much lost the subsequent debate. Nobody is talking about 'clean break' Brexit anymore after Yellowhammer, nobody is talking about Norway+, nobody is talking about 'not leaving the single market... in fact nobody is actually throwing up any positives anymore as they've all been categorically disproved - including the guff about Sovereignty.
All anybody is now championing is 'people want Brexit done' which is sounding more and more desperate by the day. It will sound worse when the PM has to go back to the EU to request an extension and we are left to the EU to determine if that is acceptable.
Yeah off a cliff usually followed by being sacked from every job hes had, looks like the sames happening....Boris does have a certain ability to take people with him.....
No progress was made on a new deal with the EU before the Benn Act was brought in and Gina Miller brought her case to the Supreme Court. If any deal is reached, Gina Miller and Hilary Benn should take the credit for forcing the government to act swiftly.Weasel words. Remainers only interest throughout the whole of the last three years or so has been to undermine the U.K. position and attempt to reverse the outcome of the referendum......
