Mate I'm from Liverpool, I'm not sure if its to do with relating to the UK or not, but take a look at the disdain with which Ian Blackford or Mhairi Black are treated in the HOC next time you get a chance. A lifetime of feeling like an insignificance may start to rub at you after a while. For me its predominantly about freedom of movement.
Sorry, thought you were Scottishlol

I'm a big fan of Scottish people in general and what they have contributed to the UK over the years. As a race I think they punch massively above their weight as can be seen from the number of Scottish prime Ministers seen over the years, their dominance of the UK banking system, their huge contribution to the UK armed forces, and not least their contribution to UK sport who's impact on the mood of the country should never be underestimated.

But I confess I am not a lover of the SNP, possibly because they want to break up the UK. When you want to break away from a union you should expect some backlash. Any disdain they get in parliament I liken to the same disdain UKIP MEPs got in Brussels. And you can hardly say that Scotland is not well represented in parliament either. Along with Northern Ireland, it has more MPs per capita than any other region of the UK.

I'm not being serious you clown!

I do think it's worth highlighting the fact that one segment of the population voted massively Leave - to weaken the economy and lessen freeedoms - at the material expense ot another segment of the population (14 to 18 year olds) that didnt get a vote but now have their whole lives impacted. That cannot be right.

It's a moot point whether those 65+ are still active economically and/or should retire from political life.
I sincerely hope that by the time you get to 65 the young generation have adopted the "Logans Run" approach.

See how you feel.;)

I would say that's the case about liberalism in general. As Hans Rosling famously pointed out, the improvement has been truly remarkable, yet it's easy to forget that because both the media live and breath by negative stories (the famous mantra of 'if it bleeds, it leads...'), and of course opposition political parties have to portray the present in a negative way so that they can say how much they'd improve matters. It results in a hugely distorted view of the world.

Very interesting and certainly food for thought

Its become quite interesting watching their MO, as it rarely changes.
I wonder are they
A)Everton supporters who genuinely believe what they say
B) Everton supporters on a wind up.
C ) Non footballing supporters who try to spread their racist or anti EU agenda.
Do other football forums have threads such as this, which are being infested ,or are we among the elite of football forums where such lofty matters are discussed

I think they may be low grade Bots in some cases, and sadly, in a few cases, A) at times.
