This I believe. Corbyn is terrified of going to the polls, with good reason.....

Of course, that's why Jeremy is the only Opposition leader in history to effectively support the sitting government by refusing the chance of an election.

I get the tactics behind it, but I don't think this will translate to votes when the time comes. I fear Corbyn's moment has passed now. Boris has a lot of support from Middle England.

That article @JEBUS_LIVES posted above suggests otherwise, mate.

Honestly at this stage I just want it over so if we ultimately decide to revoke it then I won't really care. But at the same time it'd have demonstrated a complete failing of the government to enact the will of the majority of the people that voted in 2016. Regardless of whether you're leave or remain, that's not a good thing.
The European Commission have said they don't think the UK can revoke it unilaterally but:

The European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Act 2017 is law and it is binding only so long as the UK has not withdrawn from the EU -

"The United Kingdom is free to revoke unilaterally the notification of its intention to withdraw from the EU. Such a revocation, decided in accordance with its own national constitutional requirements, would have the effect that the United Kingdom remains in the EU under terms that are unchanged as regards its status as a Member State."

40% of the electorate is enough to win the day, as not all the electorate actually vote.

And regarding the Euro elections, you can interpet it thus: pro-Remain parties (at the time) only got 35% of the vote. That's not enough.
40% of the actual vote, I meant.

I cant see any pact in any case. Farage's whole existence revolves around the Brexit question: resolve it and he has no axe to grind and no role to play in public life; see Brexit watered down or even denied, he becomes an even more pivotal figure in British politics and possibly supplants the Toties on the right of British politics.

Farage is in a near perfect position to fulfill his personal ambitions. To believe he'll sign up as a junior partner with the Tories is for the birds.

Indeed. I think in the same way the Brown was humiliated with the ‘bottler brown’ tag, that Corbyn will be labelled ‘chicken corbyn’.......

I’m pretty open minded when it comes to Farage, a man of action like him, can only be a good thing.

I’m actually seeing him in a few weeks on the Brexit party tour. What in your opinion do you think needs to be guarded against?

Farage has setup the Brexit party to defend free speech and democracy in Britain.
Do you own a union jack waistcoat?

So what would your advice be to him Pete? You're implying that he's too cowardly to consent to an election, but also seem to agree that his numbers are terrible. So where's his winning move? And if he hasn't got one, then why should he play?

The opposition don't exist to facilitate the whims of the government.

Exactly. The only way Farage cosies up to Johnson is if latter backs No Deal. If latter did that Tories would be toast.

"Standing up to the far right is the big problem in society" said nobody worth listening to, ever.

'Standing up to the far right' is a myth, designed to shut down debate. You're being played.

Try this: instead of insinuating your opponent is a Nazi, look at the content of his posts and reply specifically to that content.

Attack the post, not the poster.
