Genuine point here.

Have you noticed on the whole that either you want to remain or you are wrong?

It's quite incredible really, almost like you aren't allowed anymore to have an opposing opinion. So say you want to remain or get attacked on whatever platform you are on.

And it's not just that either. People who voted leave did so under false information, didn't know what they voted for, lied to , voted with an agenda etc. Why is this the case? Leave voters aren't coming out and saying all of this, the remain voters are. They are determining that in no way did they really lose the vote for X number of reasons.

Whether you want to leave or stay, these whole attitudes from remain voters are toxic. Strikes similar to America in all honesty, the whole country didn't want trump yet he won. Again, remain is the sensible option and yet people voted leave.

It isn't dismissing an opinion, it's the losing opinion saying it's wrong. That is it in a nutshell.

The issue is when you ask a leaver to explain why you voted to leave you get random words involving I believe/think/hope. I understand why people don't like freedom of movement but if they think this will change the general numbers they are going to be proved wrong. All it prevents is the fear that the entire population of Romania and Turkey (if they ever joined the EU) will be marching on Dover anytime soon. Which was a lie in the first place.

A trade deal with the USA from a point of weakness does not make up for a no deal with our closest trading partners.

It is economic suicide with very little positives, unless you like JRM have a company set up in the EU currently making millions off the downward trend of the UK economy?

So if you want to change our minds to at least come around to the leavers thinking, start by providing a proper business case for it.

There are no strengths of remaining, the remain campaign is based on bullying, belittling voters, talking down and patting the other side on the head.

Unbelievable.

I try not to follow UK politics too closely these days, boils my blood too much... .But looking at the dumpster fire in parliament this week...man am I glad I took that second nationality this year.

The reason why we haven't left yet is 100% MPs who actually don't want to leave the EU themselves (not did the politicians who gave us the vote ) . The reason why this is dragging on and on, the reason why they can't agree on a deal amongst themselves , they don't want to leave in the first place.

This is simply not true.

Theresa May's Leave agreement did not pass because Leavers in her own party voted against it.

If they had, we would be out by now, and there is not a thing that Remain MPs could have done to stop it.

In fairness, May's deal didn't seem to please anyone on either side of the debate.

Yet its leavers who construct fake images of remainers burning UK flags to rile up division. Its leavers who call remainers traitors.

No, both sides do it. That's the point.

Fed up of people saying one side is better than the other. They aren't. Freaks on either side.

Sure, but again, Remain MPs would have been irrelevant so long as Leave MPs could agree on what Leave should mean.

Theresa May's deal was, by any standard, a very hard Brexit which would have ended membership of the single market and thus free movement (contrary, for instance, to what you've stated you thought Leave would/should mean).

But it was not still enough to satisfy the extremists within her party.

It is all well and good to say that the voice of the people needs to be respected (and to be sure, while I voted Remain - not through any love for the EU, an often inept and at times disgraceful institution - I agree that it would be an irreparable disaster to arbitrarily revoke Article 50, and I am deeply disappointed if not surprised that Britain's political elite has even now still mostly ignored the places that voted Leave out of despair).

Still, as we've seen repeatedly, it will be impossible to deliver 'the Will of the People' until Leave MPs can agree on what that is, which is in turn impossible unless Leave voters themselves can collectively decide what they wanted.
