I havent asked anyone the personal reasons why they voted remain either its not my concern and it wouldn’t bother me whatever the reason was, you had the opportunity to vote how you felt and you took it. good for you. you want to give a list of reasons why you voted remain then crack on if it makes you feel good I don’t mind.

Discussing the pros and cons is interesting, personal reasons for voting thats up to the individual and the thought police can go do one if they don’t like it.
Ok. You plead the moral high ground. Nobody in the thread is telling you what to think regardless of how much you play the victim card.

Everyone makes representation based on their own reasons. If your entire premise is one of neutrality then it's reasonable to not divulge your position, however you have made consistent snipes and comments about 'remainers' dlfscts and rationale without ever opening yourself up to scrutiny, which is intellectually dishonest.

Think he has said that they won’t run against the true believers of the ERG (of which there are around 70).

Unless Johnson can deselect the other 200 that’s not going to do them a great deal of help.
Corbyn will never get in.... the Lib dems will pick more seats up hurting Labour whos stance on Brexit is all over the place......
If we had a good leader they would have to try and get a better deal than Mays deal - they would take us out of the EU .......

Hi Joe. Welcome back to the thread. It's missed your insightful and we'll researched contributions.

Farage has hinted if there is a GE in which he thinks there will be - he will do a deal with BoJo on fielding Brexit candidates to keep Labour out......
It's feasible as the Lib dems did it in the last Bi election......
used BOJo as the name Boris is upsetting posters :D
You forgot the lbw, which when added gives you his more appropriate name.

I can see Labour, the Lib Dems, Greens, Plaid and SNP combining to form a government.

Presumably the Lib Dems price would be a second ref and the SNPs price would be a second indy ref.

Labours stance is beginning to make a bit more sense on Brexit and I think people misunderstand just how few seats the Lib Dems and Labour actually properly contest. If the Lib Dems do well they are taking Tory seats - this will made easier for them if the Brexit vote is split between two (or even three with UKIP taking up the real hard core).

The recent by-election is Wales made it pretty clear what has to be done for a collation of the above to win, when the Greens and Plaid dropped out to give Lib Dems a better run. However if the Brexit Party and Conservatives had done the same either would have romped home.

There was a time such blatant hypocrisy would have seen a politician pilloried in the media and been forced to either retract his threat or resign in the face of outraged public tumult,

Not now.....they can say and do what they like (provided they don’t say owt the right wing media disapproves of).

I mean, imagine Corbyn was about to prorogue parliament......have non compliant colleagues kicked out the party after he himself betrayed his predecessor........had one of his ministers point blank refuse to confirm the government will obey the law.

Quite easy to imagine actually.lol

That would be feasible, but can't see it with the crappy Corbyn as leader....
there will be a GE.....

Where are the technological solutions though? I've personally asked for information on them on here for years and nothing has been forthcoming. All we usually get in response is that May was never bothered, it's all the remoaners fault...
I don't know. It isn't my area of expertise. I haven't even read the article, just were it came from hence my tongue in cheek post.

I'll make a point of reading up on it though, so I can give a, hopefully, better informed opinion. The thing is though, if we do agree a deal then there will still be a 2 year transition period so it won't need to be workable from Oct 31st.

I think the post you quoted was talking about a post-GE scenario.

I think it could work out like that. And at that point Labour, armed with a fresh mandate and not beholden to the ERG, could quickly negotiate a Soft Brexit which would then, as the Lib Dems would demand, be put to the people vs Remain.

Farage would bloody love it as he can then campaign against the 'traitors' for decades.

And to add to the irony, every single vote that goes to Farage and his motley crew will make any type of Brexit less and less likely.

Those inclined to vote Farage will obviously not realise that.
tory leavers will go back to there home instead of the brexit party ,
Labour leavers will mostly just vote the brexit party rather than tory or any of the others that all want to stop brexit.
Few like myself will vote Labour but as i have said before i will be in a minority.
I fully expect the tories to win a majority unless Boris cocks it up, hopefully
