I think the fact that since the 90's you've had the inclusion of the countries that were formally batched together as Yugoslavia and the USSR and it has led to way more political voting and that further shunts the UK down. Also to answer another posters point, what might sound great to him in English might not appeal to the average Albanian. We can't assume that just because we like it others will. Eurovision is a peculiar beast and people should not be using that as a barometer for anything.

If he can come back with a deal from the EU that can bring on board the 30/40 Labour leavers, and satisfy the ERG (not sure how the latter can be done) he won't need the DUP. Then go for a GE and then hopefully one side or the other can come out with a majority cos I'm totally cheesed off with nothing getting done in this country.

Johnson himself won't accept an NI only backstop though, he's said as much already, irrespective of his reliance on DUP support to stay in power. In fact he's said he won't accept any form of backstop that "threatens the union". So it is difficult to see how a compromise can be reached.

Both the exporters in the EU and the importers in the U.K. will want it to work. I think fishing will continue as is with a gradual building up of the U.K. fleet and facilities......

So if hypothetically we were to leave the EU and there were to be less EU migrants, and as a result of that more non-EU migrants arrived to replace them, would you be ok with that provided they’d gone through a more rigorous process? And do you think the majority of leave voters would be?

I have no issue with immigration if immigration is needed or part of societal requirements.....
