If you want to get a feel for how the EU public feel about the UK, watch Eurovision, sometimes we have top 5 acts and we always get voted bottom 5, year in year out, and you see some of the crap the other countries put up against us.

We just aren't liked, jealousy is behind it, jealous of our conquering past, jealous of our standing in the world, jealous of our relationship with the most powerful nation in the world, and so on and so on.

Bleeding hell, UK music hardly needs a leg up. Ed Sheeran only made £500 million from his last tour (Divide). Imagine if European jelousy had not got in the way, he'd been brave enough to do Eurovision.

Always the possibility he might call a G.E. to try and gain an overall majority, or maybe he saw how his predecessor got on when she tried it and will muddle on and not risk it. I think he will call one before the exit date if he thinks he is polling high enough.

I think that Scottish woman resigning reduces the likelihood of a General Election in the autumn.

The Tories have 13 seats up there and every one of them will be in play......with at least 7 looking certain to fall.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but if we get an acceptable exit deal because No Deal is the only alternative, I hope all those demonstrators go back out on the street and hail BJ as a strategical genius.

Yup. Someone’s pretending that they’ve read a £60 book on the political voting trends of Eurovision.
Another poster is saying we should all praise Johnson for doing something that he told us before the referendum would be very easy.
Not sure this can be topped. Maybe @bigbadjeff can tell us why British goths are better than the European ones and how we can trade goth pics with the world now.

I can just imagine the Romans saying 'I've no issue with the Visigoths. I like nomadic German tribes. I just wish old people going to the market to get supplies for their vesperna didn't have to walk passed Alaric and his pissed up goth lads.
