There was a great deal in December 2017 when the NI only Backstop, which is supported by the vast majority of people in NI and which recognises the unique problems and position of that region, was agreed by the British government and the EU.
That way Great Britain would have have left the EU on March 29th, customs union and all.
The UK position was “undermined” by May caving in to the DUP temper tantrum.
Never forget that, Peter......it us not the EU which has you still tethered to it, it is the Tory desperation to cling to power which saw them sell their soul to ten bigots from the edge of empire.
The Tory Party and its ERG zealots has betrayed Brexit for England....no one else.
