As a poster stated it's an EU problem if they want a hard border as no governments in the UK want one......Quite.
And you continue to fall for it.
Oh and there has been freelancing movement on the Ireland of Ireland since 1922....

Joey, you pathetically attributed a strawman position to me, which is itself a logical fallacy. Going from this thread alone I don't believe you understand basic debating principles. I shouldn't have even bothered responding at all!Poor response as per....

Free movement with passports yes ....So for the millionth time, you are quite happy with free movement of people between the EU and the UK then? I am. Its ace.
And what?
Free movement with passports yes ....
Did not realise the was an airport or a seaport on the Irish border as free movement has been in place since 1922......So a hard border then? Make your mind up.
It wasnt democratic for one. How could it be? No one knew what they were voting for. They might well have thought they did, and many probably still do. But they didnt.
Charlie, not one of these Leavers can answer that, so don't hold your breath. You will get bluster about some undesigned electronic miracle border which won't exist for ten years. You will also hear that the backstop is anti democratic. That's straight out of Johnson's word book and means nothing. The only party that opposes the backstop in Ireland is the DUP, which by a mad coincidence is propping these Tory clowns up. A majority of people in the six counties of the North of Ireland favour the backstop. Surely the backstop is purely democratic and nothing else. Johnson is a shambles. Taking back control? Don't talk wet.Serious question - if theres no border - how is the UK "taking back control"?
I 100% knew what i was voting for , thanks

Boris did he state he wanted a deal so that's why he is going over to meet not the EU but certain high up leaders in Myrtle and Mackron ... we now have a PM who is honouring democrocy with actions, and not platitudes of kind words plus the biggy for the EU the 39 billion will be off the table - that's called negotiations....
Lets just hope he can get a deal .......
I voted remain, certainly did not understand all the implications of my vote. Not sure not knowing is exclusive to leavers, as much as some remainers would like it to be, but that says lots about them...So we've had Methuselah's admission that not all Leave voters knew what they were voting for, does any other Brexiter want to try answer the following riddle?
The Irish Free State Constitution Act 1922 (Session 2) was an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, passed in 1922 to enact in UK law the Constitution of the Irish Free State, and to ratify the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty ...You sure about that Joe? Like really really sure there has been free, unchecked movement of people between ROI and NI since 1922?

The Common Travel Area (CTA; Irish: Comhlimistéar Taistil) is an open borders area comprising the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. The British Overseas Territories are not included. Based on agreements that are legally binding, the internal borders of the Common Travel Area (CTA) are subject to minimal controls, if any, and can normally be crossed by British and Irish citizens with minimal identity documents with certain exceptions.[1][2] The maintenance of the CTA involves considerable co-operation on immigration matters between the British and Irish authorities.
