Given that half of the UKs MEP seats have already been allocated to other nations, how would that play out if the UK decided to stay.?

I think the majority of the people in the UK assume that the EU still want us to stay, not realising that they have been merrily planning for life without us. I'm not sure how welcome we would be in the event we revoked article 50.
Can’t say I speak for anyone in the EU but I would imagine that us staying would be the ideal outcome for them. Then they can hold us up as an example to any other countries that start to think about leaving. “Look how much they ballsed it up and decided to stay! Do you want to do that?”

I may be completely wrong on that but it’s how I would view it in their position.

Definatly, they overturn referendum s for fun past masters at it........
We needed a leader of steel - we got a woman of straw the deal was created anyway!

I hope we do get a second referendum because the last 3 months have proven that EU are the bad guys and our government is incapable of sorting things out.

So if the vote still remained leave then it would be quite amusing to see them struggle again
This is the myth that caused Brexit in the first place! It’s simply not true, they have been totally consistent throughout. There is only so much they can do without destroying the EU. The bad guys are the likes of Farage, Boris and Gove that told lies before the referendum for personal gain as well as those that bankrolled the whole thing for financial gain.

Not quite true... the vote came about because it was extremely obvious to Cameron that UKIP had tapped into a huge population he wanted to reject the Lisbon treaty and what the EU has become.

You are living in fantasy land if you believe the working class were 'hoodwinked'.

Again, touted by a middle class charlatan who made a name for himself, a lot of money, and has distanced himself from a party that is now right wing. Man of the people that feller.

And they were hoodwinked due the fact that most voted believing they would push through their interests (immigration control, NHS funding etc) and Farage, Gove etc surely would have a plan if they won. None of that was true and they all jumped ship.

No one had or even presented obstacles and challenges leading up to how they would leave the EU, they just spouted an ideology certain people wanted to hear.

And I'll add...at the time. Because peoples view and opinions have changed since 2 years ago as I can't remember the daily mail banging out about keeping foreigners out the country for a while.

The snakes that have all disappeared. Will no doubt all get a pay cheque out of a certain outcome. As will all the other conservatives backbenchers in others pockets

The EU have always said...sort your house out. We haven't. Cant see it changing. Can only see a no deal.

Then watch a business exodus.

How would you have wanted the deal to be different?
A better laid out negotiated deal on our terms the EU first asked for compensation, that should have been the last thing on the table......
Then after a hung parliament a coalition of Labour, and Tories could have done better than this..... Today's 2nd debarcle of a vote.....
