It seemingly did.

And you know what Bruce, it is great to be given facts to interpret and then take an informed decision from that.

Even better if you actually absorb those facts rather than perform mental gymnastics to continue with your mistaken point of view. You can put the cherry on top by contending that your intellectual rigidity is a sign of openness to change.

Indeed.

Attitudes have definitely hardened and despite the wealth of information available it has come down to win/lose regardless of the spoils of that contest.

The sheer arrogance of it. He actually thinks that Ireland should leave the EU as well in order to preserve the status quo if all else fails. Farage has come up with the same suggestion. It smacks of total desperation on their part.

I’m glad you mentioned arrogance, maybe you will look the word up and think about how you wish to treat NI.....,

Acceptable to whom. If it’s not acceptable to the ROI, why should it be acceptable to N I. Come on guys there are two sets of peoples here yet you seem to dismiss those from the North.....
Where do you think Ron is from ? Timbuktu ?

Dismiss those from the North ?

The people of NI voted to remain in the EU.

The people of NI don't want their economy wrecked by Brexit.

The people of NI don't want their hard won peace threatened by Brexit.

The Irish government and the EU are trying to PROTECT the people of NI from the consequences of Brexit, as they have a duty to do under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement.

You and your hardline Brexiteers are the people DISMISSING the views and wishes of the people of NI, with the exception of those held by your fellow right wing fanatics in the DUP.

Get a grip of the reality of the situation.

Yet your IRA supporting political group can’t even be bothered to represent them.....

I’m from the North and as you know the majority will is to remain within the E.U.

To deny us that is to dismiss us, if you pardon me borrowing your expression.

No problem. The U.K. decided to leave. If you wish to leave the U.K. and rejoin the EU just vote for it. I will be your biggest supporter if you wish to do so. I believe in democracy. You can either vote to join the ROI or become an Independent country, just make your mind up. Which is it......

I responded to your line about dismissing NI’s political future as it’s quite frankly balls as it voted to remain. You are arguing against yourself.

And who ever advocates an independent NI?
