Petition going round for a second referendum

Currently more than 1 million people have signed it

This means it now has to be debated in parliament

Interesting, though I can't see a pro brexit Tory PM (which is almost certainly what the next one will be) authorising it

At the end of the day, we've voted and got a result. That's democracy

If it does go to parliament and get overturned (which it won't) because people can't accept/ respect other people's opinions this country will be goosed.

People that voted leave because they wanted a large cut in immigration ( A view which I hold nothing against btw) are going to be bitterly disappointed when it doesn't/can't happen.

And all its going to cause is even more resentment in the political system

Mate the unions powers have been gradually eroded by successive neo-liberal governments for the last 35 years, leaving the EU won't bring back Union protection.

Never said it would.

Might cause them to get off their overpaid, overprivelged arses and start fighting back, if - as feared - the tories start running riot.

I don't think it will to be honest

I don't think people even like the political system to begin with

This'll just be taken in stride like everything else
